Abstract
This Final Graduation Paper aims to investigate the working conditions of early childhood in the private sector and how these conditions impact the relationship between adults and children. The research is qualitative and bibliographic in nature, based on the reading and analysis of articles, books, and documents related to the history of private early childhood education and the working conditions of early childhood educators in private schools in Brazil. In addition, exploratory qualitative research was conducted through an online questionnaire with educators from various private institutions, considering that it was not necessary for these educators to still be working in the field of private early childhood education. The educators' accounts reveal that, despite significant advances in early childhood education, much still needs to be improved. Issues such as salary, workload, lack of resources and infrastructure, disorganized management, and neglect in relation to families, among others, directly impact the educators' relationship with the children. The history and reports suggest that private early childhood education requires improvements in working conditions, such as salary increases, reduced working hours, professional appreciation, and more humanized and organized management.
