The production of these substances is directly related to the culture media, as well as the available carbon and nitrogen sources, conditions of pH, temperature and agitation (gas exchange). Among the microbial groups most studied about the production of various interest metabolites are the fungi and bacteria that inhabit the interior of plants, the endophytics. Thus, the present study aimed to isolate and identify endophytics microorganisms from leaves of four species of Tabebuia spp. and Hymenaea courbaril and study the production of interest metabolites by the lineages found. The microbial activities were studied: antibiotic capability against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria, antifungal, antibiotic resistance, enzyme production, antitumor activity and pigment production. Microorganisms that stood out due to production of antibiotics, cytotoxicity against tumor cells and pigment production. This study selected microorganisms based on their most relevant production, in this case, it was the antibiotics production, pigments production and cytotoxicity, they were cultured in larger scale aiming at the improvement of the production of metabolite chosen according to the results. The selected microorganisms were a bacterium identified as Paenibacillus terrae and a fungus identified as Penicillium minioluteum/Talaromyces minioluteus complex. The P. terrae proved producing bioactive metabolites against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans, in addition to novel cytotoxic activity against HTC, and OVCAR8 SF295 tumor cells. This bacterium also showed unprecedented anti-Leishimania activity, acting against the promastigote form of the parasite. The isolated fungus proved producing a red pigment, in large quantities without cytotoxic, antifungal or antibacterial activity, favoring its industrials applications. Technology transfer university-business refers to the different forms of partnerships between these two domains. The result of this process innovation is a prerequisite for survival in competitive environments. However, despite the ever closer links between universities and firms, cooperation is "far" from being a smooth process, mainly due to structural differences between agents and goals and can create conflicting expectations and perceptions. Against this backdrop, this paper aims to present and analyze the characteristics of the profile UFSCAR cooperation with the company today, and see if there was any change in the characteristics of the UFSCAR cooperation with the company, using as an object of analysis projects established between the university and its external partners in the last five years (2008-2012), which are managed by the Foundation for Institutional Support of Scientific and Technological Development (FAI). Among the results, it is emphasized that the cooperation projects of UFSCAR with the external environment characterized, in most cases, by low ranges of duration. Regarding the type of financing, private companies, the main activities developed with the university in the study were the activities of Consultancy / Project Consultancy and Research and Development. Another important factor was that 88% of partnerships with private companies took place at the Center of Exact Sciences and Technology (CCET) and the Departments of Civil Engineering and Materials Engineering, both in number of projects and volume of resources. As an alternative to such a strategy, this work describes a one-pot approach to silylated prolyl-peptide catalysts by a multicomponent reaction that enables the simultaneous incorporation of the catalytic and the heterogenizable (triethoxysilane) moieties. A microreactor with high catalytic efficacy and reproducibly in the conjugate addition of aldehydes to nitroolefins was obtained by grafting onto HPLC-grade silica (10 μm) and packing into a column with a selected catalyst. A 3 D continuous-flow system that includes the on-line monitoring of the reaction outcome was set up. For that, the microreactor was coupled to a chromatographic column for the separation of the remaining substrates from the Michael adduct in the second dimension, followed by a chiral polysaccharide column for the analysis of conversion and stereoselectivity. For this, a mixture of potassium permanganate and lithium hydroxide monohydrate (Li/Mn = 1.2) aqueous solutions and acetone (acetone/Mn = 1.1) was treated in a microwave reactor (850 W) at 140 °C for different times (10 s - 30 min) and under constant magnetic stirring. The obtained materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, X-ray dispersive energy spectroscopy, electrons diffracton, inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, thermogravimetry, structural refinement by Rietveld method and chronopotentiometry. The X-ray diffractogramm for the material synthesized in 5 min could be indexed to the JCPDS card number 35-0782 related to the LiMn2O4 in spinel phase, but the unwanted presence of K+ ions in its structure was verified. Thus, an ionic exchange step was included in the process, in which the newly-synthesized material was treated in an aqueous solution of lithium hydroxide in the same microwave reactor for different times (5 - 40 min) and under constant magnetic stirring. After 10 min, a material with low content of K+ ions and Li/Mn ratio = 0.52 was obtained, but it was electrochemically inactive. The material was submitted to a heat treatments in a conventional microwave oven for distinct times (1 - 5 min), having presented, after 4 min, the characteristic electrochemical profile of the spinel. The images obtained by scanning and transmission electron microscopy for this material showed the predominance of prismatic particles with nearly 10 - 25 nm. The results of charge and discharge tests showed that the specific capacity values are strongly dependent of the composite film thickness that composes the electrode. Thinner films presented a value of initial specific capacity of 100 ± 17 mA h g-1 with charge retention of 93% after 75 charge and discharge cycles at C/1 discharge rate.
