For this purpose, a survey of the works present in the CAPES theses and dissertations catalog was carried out and, subsequently, an analysis from titles and abstracts of these thesis and dissertations were made. The study questions are: how many and which are there on this subject? Are these researches articulated? Are there conclusions about methodologies to teach physics with people with hearing disability? What have been the concerns of researchers in the teaching of physics for the deaf? These questions provided theses objectives: to present an overview of theses and dissertations about physics teaching for deaf and discuss methodological and pedagogical aspects found in these works. The results indicated a trend of increasing academic production over the years. Furthermore, we found 27 works distributed in the five regions of Brazil, which can be classified into three thematic approaches: 1) related to didactic resources; 2) related to the understanding of the learning process and, 3) related to communication in LIBRAS of scientific terms. It is necessary to mention that these three thematic focus were also described by other authors, in similar studies, which supported and contributed to this final paper.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A leitura e escrita no contexto da educação infantil(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-03-18) Palauro, Natália Gonçalves; Monteiro, Maria Iolanda; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4189205834370563; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5899168538421559This bibliographic work aims to survey the relationship between teaching and pedagogical practice and the formation of reading and writing habits from Early Childhood Education, analyzing the work carried out before and after the approval of the BNCC (BRASIL, 2017). The analyzed researches were from the universities around the Federal University of São Carlos, São Carlos – São Paulo. There is an extensive literature about methodologies for the synthesis of these substances, showing their importance. In the last decade, photocatalysis has undergone a substantial expansion driven by the search for new ways to achieve molecule activation and the growing interest in the development of more sustainable methodologies. In view of this scenario, our group has sought to contribute to the progress of photocatalyzed methodologies, applying photocatalysis to synthesize N-heterocyclic compounds. In this study, three photocatalytic methodologies were developed, one employing photoredox catalysis and the others employing photocatalysis by energy transfer. The first one is described as a cascade cyclization reaction initiated by alkyl radicals generated via photocatalyzed deamination by visible light. Under mild reaction conditions, the developed method provides a series of benzazepinones with a wide substrate scope, good functional group tolerance and good yields. In the second methodology, the synthesis of cyclobutanequinolinones was achieved through [2+2] cycloaddition reactions by energy transfer. The method has also a wide substrate scope, tolerates structural variations well and produces a large variety of cyclobutane derivatives with yields ranging from 27-99%, and with excellent regio- and diastereoselectivity. The third methodology was developed using 1,3-enynes in photocatalyzed reactions. It is a highly sustainable methodology which employs a metal-free catalyst (1,2,3,5-tetrakis(carbazol-9-yl)-4,6-dicyanobenzene) (4CzIPN), blue LED as activation source and a dimethylcarbonate solvent. (DMC). By this method, a series of 1,3-diene quinolinone derivatives were obtained in excellent yields.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Formação em cuidados paliativos: apontamentos sobre o processo de ensino na Universidade Federal de São Carlos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-03-18) Gomes, Maria Caroline Volpin; Bombarda, Tatiana Barbieri; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8070700589653226; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3300621760349154The National Academy of Palliative Care argues that the teaching of palliative care must occur systematically in undergraduate and graduate courses, as a way to guarantee qualified assistance to who need. Yet, in Brazil, matrices of essential skills are still being developed. This study sought to understand the teaching scenario on palliative care in health courses at the Federal University of São Carlos. This is a descriptive study, with a mixed approach, developed in two stages: documental study with analysis of pedagogical projects, curriculum matrices and teaching plans; and interviews with teachers who provide contents about palliative care within the scope of the teaching and extension. The information from the documentary data was descriptively organized in Excel spreadsheets and an analysis was based on the fundamentals and principles of palliative care. Thematic analysis was carried out for the contents from the interviews. As a result, it was observed the absence of specific disciplines on palliative care and the scarcity of content on the subject inserted in the disciplines that integrate the curriculum matrix. The difficulties in teaching palliative care from the teachers' point of view are due to the lack of understanding on the subject; the difficulty in providing changes in the curricular structure and the reduced number of qualified teachers in the discipline. It was found that the teaching scenario at this federal university presents significant fragility in training in palliative care, a situation resulting from multifactorial aspects from the perspective of professors. The demand for professional training involving skills that guarantee the recognition of the indication for palliative care in a qualified way is notorious, avoiding late or inadequate referrals in health care, a factor that requires efforts and reflections on strategies that minimize the training gaps identified. In this aspect, it is believed that the development of matrixes of essential competences for the performance of palliative care can favor improvements in the training processes, as well as that initiatives of interdepartmental actions can contribute to the reduction of weaknesses identified in this institution.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Moradia e idoso: um estudo sobre o lugar de envelhecer(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-03-18) Grezele, Gabriely; Silva, Nayara Mendes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1791265073266957; Monteiro, Luzia Cristina Antoniossi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2890278808923978; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2665368954438184The place of residence directly reflects on active and healthy old age. It is known that the aging process is accompanied by a series of biopsychosocial issues influenced by several factors. Adequate housing can be a facilitator in the process. However, the elderly population increasingly depends on State initiatives to obtain access to adequate housing, and therefore, dignified conditions in old age, reflecting on functional capacity. In this scenario, specific public policies that do not take into account aspects related to health and well being can impact daily activities of daily living and relationships with the place. In this sense, there is a need for studies that investigate housing characteristics and the profile of the elderly in each location, in order to deepen the knowledge regarding the socio-spatial insertion of the resident. It is understood that care policies for the elderly can promote active and healthy aging, regardless of the level of socioeconomic development, enabling the maintenance of functional capacity in a safe environment, encouraging participation in the community. Therefore, the objective of this study was to analyze the housing conditions and the functional capacity of elderly residents of the CECAP neighborhood in Araraquara-SP. It is a transversal, exploratory and descriptive research, based on the quantitative-qualitative method of investigation. The research participants were elderly people registered in the public health facilities that served the neighborhood. Interviews were conducted with semi-structured questions, and the Brazilian Oars Multidimensional Functional Assessment Questionnaire (BOMFAQ) was used to assess functional capacity. The results indicated that the interviewees do not have severe commitment to the performance of daily activities, but they have greater difficulties in the IADL, which are related to health conditions and not directly with the neighborhood. Regarding the participants' perception of housing, it was noted that the feeling of well-being, possession, living conditions and the understanding that there is an offer of product and service structures within the neighborhood, are important aspects that reflect on the quality of housing. of what is lived and the understanding that their housing meets their needs, reflecting on the feeling of belonging, integration and conditions to enjoy the space independently, actively and with dignity in old age.
