listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação da função sexual em mulheres brasileiras: um estudo transversal(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10) Silva, Stéfany Gomes da; Fabricio, Amanda Magdalena Feroldi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4902153667074796; Beleza, Ana Carolina Sartorato; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4139635204538357Introduction: The physiological female sexual response is mediated by multiple components that, when impaired, can trigger sexual dysfunction (SD) in this population. SD causes negative impacts on women's quality of life and, although the study on the subject is growing, its prevalence is still growing year by year and information on sexual function in Brazilian women is scarce. Objectives: To evaluate sexual function in Brazilian women and to investigate the prevalence and factors associated with the presence of female sexual dysfunction (FSD) in this population. Methods: The present study used the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) questionnaire as a basis for DSF screening, which assesses sexual response based on desire, arousal, vaginal lubrication, sexual satisfaction, orgasm and pain. the questionnaire was made available online and could be answered by women aged 18 years or older and with an active sex life, characterized by sexual activity present within the four weeks prior to participation. Scores <26.55 on the FSFI were considered as the presence of DSF. From In addition, women were divided into two groups, with and without DSF. Comparison between groups was performed using demographic characteristics with the t test for independent samples (continuous variables with normal distribution), the Mann-Whitney test (continuous variables without normal distribution) and the chi-square test (categorical variables). The association between the patient's characteristics and the FSD was based on binomial logistic regression. Results: 621 women participated in the study; the average age of participants was 29.8 (8.9%) years, 274 (44.1%) were married and 305 (49.1%) had higher education. About 31.7% (95% CI = 28.2% – 35.5%) had sexual dysfunction based on the FSFI score. The logistic regression performed showed the practice of physical activity as inversely associated with FSD (OR=0.65; CI 0.45 – 0.92), while urinary incontinence (OR=2.21; CI 1.55 – 3, 16) and menopause increase (OR=4.60; CI 1.62 – 13.1) by 2.2 and 4.6 times, respectively, the chance of occurrence of SD. Conclusion: It is believed that menopause and UI are phenomena that contribute to the development of FSD in Brazilian women, while the practice of physical activity reduces the chances of this dysfunction.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Retratos da pandemia: registros foto/cartográficos a partir de um olhar infantil surdo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-03) Dias, Jonathas Oliveira; Cabello, Janaina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4349074907357325; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7345050914021096This work, of cartographic theoretical-methodological inspiration, has as main objective to show the childish feelings of deaf children at the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. The photographic resource was adopted as a way of accessing the elaboration of deaf children's imagination in this context, and the guiding theoretical assumptions were the bilingual/bicultural perspective in the understanding of deaf identity and culture and the studies in post-structuralist perspectives. From a case study and the participation of a deaf child in the process of photographic and imagery creation, although the work had the objective of presenting to the deaf child an exercise of autonomy - in which he was able to appropriate photography as a tool, as door of dialogue and as a possibility of enunciating oneself - in the encounter with deaf children's productions, it can be seen that ways of doing (depicting and narrating oneself) are reproduced, still quite guided by adult/hearing expectations, which suggests that the work with photography or the construction of imagery narratives by deaf children can be further explored as forms of elaboration and construction of narratives of deaf children's subjectivities, since although photography can be a powerful resource for this, it seems still be little explored in the field, for example, in the education of deaf children.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Otimização do desempenho dinâmico de robôs paralelos acionados por cabos com redundância cinemática utilizando reposicionamento contínuo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-03) Oliveira, Gabriel Luis; Fontes, João Vitor de Carvalho; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9473668144091435Parallel robots play a key role in manufacturing processes. Among its classifications, there is a specific type called parallel robot driven by cables (RPAC), which has good inertial properties and relatively low costs. Even so, there may be undesired characteristics, such as the presence of singularities inside the work area, which leads, for example, to loss of rigidity of cables, distribution of forces and vibration. One way to improve the manipulator architecture is through kinematic redundancy, a technique that consists of adding an active joint in one of the kinematic chains of the non-redundant manipulator. Based on that, a numerical model of a cable-driven parallel planar robot was implemented in MATLAB software and the impact of kinematic redundancy was defined through a continuous repositioning of the redundant joints. It was possible to compare different redundancy resolution strategies through an optimization algorithm, in order to minimize the forces acting on the cables during the execution of the trajectory, as well as to understand the influence of the rotation of the end-effector on these values. The results showed an improvement in the dynamic performance of the redundant manipulators compared to the non-redundant model, in addition to comparing between the redundant models which strategy was more assertive.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, #Casalibras: aspectos técnicos de tradução de libras para língua portuguesa na modalidade oral para crianças ouvintes(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-03) Santos, Thayna Thaysa Proença; Martins, Vanessa Regina de Oliveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4768682330164550; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5627414840860230Accessibility is an immense challenge to be faced when idealizing an inclusive society in which social equity is observed. Such challenge becomes more evident when it comes to access to information for deaf children. Audiovisual content accessible to hearing-impaired children has increased in recent years, yet analyses of the use of such material remain limited, both for deaf children and also hearing children, who must also be able to communicate in Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS), in order to participate in an inclusive society. This research project aims to understand how interaction and reception of audiovisual material in LIBRAS by the hearing child audience occurs. The present work was developed as part of the requirements for the obtention of a bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation in Libras and Portuguese Language (TILSP) from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). The objective of this research is to observe the challenges that translators and interpreters have to face as well as their actions in promoting linguistic accessibility to the Portuguese oral language to hearing children (children born to deaf parents, children with deaf siblings and students who attend bilingual schools LIBRAS/Portuguese in an extension activity named by #CasaLibras. Taking into account the need to evaluate the paths that lead to such accessibility and the actions of TILSP in assuring accessibility for hearing children, this research proposes a qualitative study in order to address the inclusion or the lack of inclusion in the media, using as methodological data the social extension project #CasaLibras previously mentioned. This is a case study on the translation of the oral modality of the Portuguese language in children’s media, the professional challenges of this activity and the reception of media materials by this audience. Data were analyzed based on the findings of Deaf Studies researchers. Results intend to contribute with new knowledge about these activities and attractive reflections for the training of TILSP, which is still a very recent field of study.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A saúde mental do intérprete de Libras em sua atuação no contexto remoto em tempos de pandemia(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-03) Silva, Suyene Pereira da; Cabello, Janaina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4349074907357325; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5643780069806617This project aims to investigate the professional LIBRAS interpreter work and its specificities facing the remote context practice started during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly between 2020 and 2021. This new kind of practice raised some concerns about the interpreter’s mental health, since before this work was mainly face-to-face. Thus, as a LIBRAS translator and interpreter in formation, who had the first experience in this context (since until then I had no experience with face-to-face work), through an autobiographical analysis of my field diary written during my college internship, I sought to present feelings and thoughts identified throughout the interpretations, aiming to discuss about the impacts of the remote context in my practice and my subjective perception about my activities as an interpreter. Perceptions were categorized through content analysis, and the results discussed and presented indicate that, although new tensions have emerged with remote context work - impacting, therefore, the mental health -, some positive aspects were also perceived, indicating that future researches could focus on the issue of mental health care in the LIBRAS interpreter and translator education, so that it considers remote context elements from now on, since apparently this work has expanded and it seems that it will remain even after the face-to-face work re-emerged.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Surdidade e Transgeneridade: afastamentos e aproximações(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-03) Mateus, Idris Bonilha; Cabello, Janaina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4349074907357325; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6732762402793631The theme of intersectionality has been an emerging discussion in recent years in the country, resulting in a growing number of publications about it in the academic context. Nonetheless, it still looks like there are a few studies focused on discussing the political and social uses of the expression, more specifically, in the relation between the deaf social movement and the trans social movement. Because of this fact, this paper is an exploratory study regarding this theme through bibliographic search, using the concept of intersectionality as an analytic resource, as an attempt of better understanding the meaning and the discourses to write an essay about the similarities and differences between both social movements that help the defense and claim of a dignity life for trans and deaf people. Based on the affirmation that social movements organized by minority groups regarding their specifics have similarities that offer concepts, theories and strategies capable of assisting on the struggles faced by social movements in general. This study is believed to add on the discussion of intersectionality already existing, contributing to both areas deaf studies and gender debates focused on transgenderism.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Narrativas em libras como dispositivo formativo para tradutores e intérpretes de libras voltadas ao público infantil surdo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-03) Moreira, Jéssica Leite Pereira; Martins, Vanessa Regina de Oliveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4768682330164550; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8800335939893460The work of translators and interpreters of Libras/Portuguese Language with deaf children is a big challenge, especially when the children are in the process of late language acquisition, as commonly occurs with deaf children. This paper aims to analyze the strategies used for the construction of a version of narrative in Libras, aimed at deaf children, considering that they are still in the process of language acquisition. That is, to understand the possibilities of the construction of statements with imagistic descriptions and visual elements that favor the interaction and understanding of deaf children through literary stories or didactic productions by Libras. For the research we selected literary materials in Libras from the project called #CasaLibras and that were indicated as favorable products for the deaf children community for the discursive quality and visuality in the enunciative production. As a methodological procedure, we followed the analysis of children's storytelling videos from this project. These analyses will contribute to the training of translators and interpreters of Libras/Portuguese Language once we have highlight visual structural resources in the composition of imagery elements in Libras aimed at deaf children. The research steps were: selecting 6 (six) media produced by 3 (three) deaf and 3 (three) listeners in the project #CasaLibras; we sent to a group of deaf children to indicate which narratives were more enjoyable to them; we surveyed the media by selecting the most voted materials; interviewing each of the narrators of the 3 most voted videos; we raised highlights of visual strategies. As a result, the research showed that the components presented about strategies aimed at deaf children are fundamental to provide a storytelling that deaf child not only understand more, but also feel a desire to be part of the narrative. This happens by the playfulness that was provided through these resources announced by the narrators and demonstrated in our analysis.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O ensino de Libras na formação de assistentes sociais de uma instituição tradicional do estado de São Paulo: aspectos curriculares(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-03) Angelim, Jonas dos Santos; Cabello, Janaina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4349074907357325; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5689364896310848As of 2015, with the publication of Law nº 13.146 - Brazilian Law for the Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (LBI) - much has been discussed about the deaf person with regard to their linguistic rights and their daily difficulties in providing care in numerous services, because of its distinct language (Brazilian Sign Language). In addition to this initial problem, we seek in this work to bring this discussion specifically to the care of deaf people in the field of Social Work. In this sense, the present work aims to verify how one of the most traditional Social Work courses in the country, offered by the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), addresses the rights of deaf people in its curriculum for training social workers. . The choice criterion for the curricular analysis of this course is due to the fact that this is the pioneering course for the training of social workers in Brazil, at the same time that, at the same institution, one of the most traditional institutions for the care of the deaf in São Paulo is maintained. Paulo, the Division of Education and Rehabilitation of Communication Disorders (DERDIC). Thus, as a triggering question, we propose: would DERDIC's tradition in assisting deaf people and families influence, in some way, the curricular proposal for training social workers at this institution? Based on a bibliographic/documental survey and through the curricular analysis of the social work course, we observed that the curricular proposal of the analyzed institution does not explicitly present disciplines related to the training of more prepared social workers to meet the needs of deaf people in their linguistic specificities (mainly), which impacts, more broadly, on actions that promote greater social inclusion of this public.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Trajetórias, identidades e narrativas: aproximações das histórias de aprendizagem de português por um surdo e uma indígena ouvinte(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-03) Comapa, Marta Marubo; Cabello, Janaina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4349074907357325; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2511033921330784Taking as theoretical basis the studies of cultural-historical psychology and bilingual education and from a rescue of my personal history as an indigenous bilingual speaker of Portuguese as a second language, and narratives and testimonies of a deaf person who speaks Libras as his natural language - and who also has Portuguese as a second language - I have as objectives in this work: 1) To report my experience regarding the learning of the Portuguese language; 2) To understand the trajectory of the deaf person as a Libras speaker and, how the use of his language can result in the formation of his identity and in his social inclusion; 3) To analyze the two experiences to understand and reflect on the processes of cultural and linguistic valorization of different socially discredited languages in relation to the use of the Portuguese language in the country. The research is relevant because it addresses two differentperspectives, the first is a perspective of personal trajectory as an indigenous speaker of the mother tongue Pano, who studied in a non-indigenous school, in which the language of formation is Portuguese, and how these gaps bring social reflections in (my) identity and cultural constitution; on the other hand, in the second perspective, I analyze the sign language (Libras) and its relations with the Portuguese, along with the personal experiences of a deaf man chosen to report his trajectory, to highlight the key factors in the strengthening of his language, identity and socio-cultural historical process. Thus, the goal of the work, by drawing possible parallels, was to perform an exercise of approximations and departures from the studies on appropriation of Portuguese as a second language by indigenous people and deaf people, adding to the literature of Deaf Studies more specifically and, more broadly, to discussions on bilingual / bicultural education in the country.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Demandas e trajetórias de mulheres em situação de rua do município de São Carlos- SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-03) Prado, Carla Cristina Pianca; Silva, Carla Regina; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6417501858864106; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9582241119353034This Course Completion Work is the result of Scientific and Technological Initiation Research that was accepted with a scholarship by the 001/20 notice of the Coordination of Scientific and Technological Initiation Programs of the Pro-Rectory of Research of UFSCar, with a period of validity between 01 /09/20220 to 08/31/2021. The Yanomami groups in Marauiá have had different experiences of schooling: the Salesian and the one called in Brazil as differentiated, and the adoption and defense of these two systems has become a stage for the expression of political differences and alliance between the groups, also operating in the processes of producing difference and territorial occupation. The arrival of the school serves for the forces of colonization and sedentarization, but also for the indigenous strategies of counter-effectuation of colonization, so that the adoption of schools by Yanomami groups occurs in parallel with a continuous process of elaboration of what the school is and what they have sought with her and through her. In this context, the political actions of certain Yanomami groups, including Adriano's, began to use the schools to counteract, or at least reduce, the violence of contact and assimilation.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Dopagem substitucional de peroviskitas com metais de transição 3d: um estudo ab initio(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-04) Chagas, Lucas Guilherme; Lima, Matheus Paes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1835846543912999; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0907339374208991The global demand for energy has brought into focus the halide perovskites as materials with high potential for applications in photovoltaic devices. Great progress has been made in the last 10 years, demonstrating the possibility of surpassing the efficiency of current silicon-based technology with the advantage of lower costs and ease of synthesis. However, there are two drawbacks for its large-scale commercial use: (i) the most efficient perovskites currently have lead in their composition, generating strong toxicity; (ii) in addition, there is structural instability, resulting in degradation, and consequent loss of its properties. This degradation can lead to the release of lead, and is greater in the case of perovskites with organic cations. As an alternative, perovskites with inorganic cations, such as Cs + , have been explored. It is also common to replace lead with non-toxic metallic cations, such as Sn 2+ . In particular, CsSnI3 is a promising lead-free perovskite for applications in photovoltaic devices. However, this material has two phases at room temperature: Black (photo-active) and Yellow (photo-inactive), the second being more stable, but without potential for applications in photovoltaic devices due to its wide bandgap (2,4 eV ). In this work, we study the substitutional doping of CsSnI 3 with transition metals 3d at the site of Sn through simulations ab initio based on density functional theory. The dopants are Sc , Ti , V , Cr , Mn , Fe , Co , Ni , Cu , and Zn . The study was divided into three stages: (i) study of CsSnI3 without defects; (ii) doping 100% to understand the limits of high concentration; (iii) partial doping in concentration of 12,5%. The results of step (i) indicate that the Yellow phase is more stable than the Black phase, and that local structural distortions are essential to obtain a bandgap in agreement with experimental data. Step (ii) indicated that dopants in high concentrations can improve the stability of CsSnI3 . Step (iii) shows that there is a reduction of the lattice parameter for dopings with Sc , V , Cr and Mn . However, some dopants induce Jahn-Teller distortions in octahedra, namely, Co , Ni , Cu and Zn . The calculation of the energy of formation shows that the doping with Sc is exothermic, while the others are endothermic. Most defects have the most stable neutral state of charge. The only exceptions are doping with Ni and Cu . Furthermore, the dopants V , Cr , Fe and Co introduce states into the bandgap. Finally, our most relevant result was the inversion of the most stable phase for dopants with a greater number of electrons 3d. That is, the black phase is more stable when we doped CsSnI3 with Co , Ni , Cu , and Zn . Our work demonstrated that the stability of perovskites can be controlled with substitutional doping, and indicated the main effects of this doping on the structural and electronic properties of CsSnI3.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Um estudo dos modelos de sobrevivência de longa duração LIGcr e GEPGWcr(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-04) Stella, Caroline Amantea; Suzuki, Adriano Kamimura; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4579497412852854; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9914440896089821In this work we study two long-term survival models denomined Logaritmic Inverse Gaussian cure rate (LIGcr) model and Geometric Exponentiated Power Generalized Weibull cure rate (GEPGWcr) model. Both models take into account the existence of unobserved heterogeneity. For this, both models consider a random variable that describes the frailty been discret and starting on zero. For both models studied, the parameters are estimated by the maximum likehood method. In a simulations study, we investigated the averages of the estimates, the biases, the mean squared errors and coverage probabilities. Finally, we show the applicability of the models to real data sets.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Desafios e possibilidades da atuação de intérpretes educacionais para a inclusão de alunos surdos na educação básica(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-04) Silva, Luiza Trindade da; Martins, Vanessa Regina de Oliveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4768682330164550; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2267183017660362The present work shares the analyzes carried out from the research of the Course Completion Work (TCC) of the Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpretation in Libras/Portuguese Language. The research aimed to investigate the dilemmas and possibilities of the performance of educational interpreters in the early and final years of elementary school, bringing considerations of the inclusion of deaf students in basic education and its impact on the training of translators and interpreters of Libras. The research problematized the dilemmas of this process for 3 aspects: 1) the performance of the educational interpreter, demarcating his function in the face of the articulated relations between the regent teacher and the Educational Interpreter (EI), 2) the challenges and possibilities for the performance of the EI in basic education and 3) the dilemmas and creation of strategies for interaction with deaf teachers and students at school. In order to answer these questions, a bibliographical survey of research was carried out that underlies the current dilemmas of deaf education and the presence of translators and interpreters as mediation agents between teachers, deaf students and the school context. For data collection, interviews were conducted with 2 professional educational interpreters who work or have worked in interpretive mediation for the deaf in basic education, focusing on basic education. It is expected that such knowledge can directly help in the formation of EI and in its interpretative and educational practices with deaf students in the context of school inclusion.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Dinâmicas de gênero no parlamento das águas: o caso do Comitê de bacia Rio Pardo (SP)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-04) Souza, Janaina dos Santos de; Martins, Rodrigo Constante; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6617183095074852; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2687747073551813This work focused on analyzing the conflicts and dynamics of gender relations in the water parliament, more specifically in the management unit of the Rio Pardo Basin Committee (CBH-Pardo), which is a fundamental space in terms of the economy paulista, mainly due to sugarcane monoculture activities. Considering the participatory character proposed by this governance model, we seek to understand the participation of women in this management instance from its first management team, started in 1996, until the management of the year 2019, also highlighting the plenary with the right to vote. It is important to emphasize that this analysis did not take place only in terms of the number these women, but in the participatory quality and in the way of their insertion in the internal organizational structures of the committee. We work with the hypothesis that the governance structure of São Paulo waters, more specifically the CBH-Pardo, reproduces an organizational model that generates different types of conflicts and gender dynamics, which are the result of tensions of a power legitimized through of central forces in the field of technical-scientific knowledge and the market. A qualitative approach of social research was used in the research, through bibliographic research, survey and document analysis, as well as semi-structured and in-depth interviews with the participating members of the Committee. From this we can highlight two important results of the research carried out: the first one that is guided by a reorganization of our original hypothesis, showing that this space not only showed us models and gender conflicts, but also presented us with the democratic limits of the formation of the committee , which did not overcome traditional and social values; and the second one that properly refers to the scope of power relations and how these are placed in the path of a participatory parity look, outlining the central and peripheral relations that design the participation of these women .listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Moléculas fotônicas aplicadas como filtro ótico em laser semicondutor para obtenção de fonte de luz monocromática sintonizável(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-05) Pires, Marcus Vinicius do Amaral; Barea, Luis Alberto Mijam; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7929868663210908; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5072506108887205This work demonstrates the application of Photonic Molecules - PMs in spectral engineering and its ability to integrate a complex and compact optical filter, capable of efficiently and tunably filtering broad emission spectra and with many resonances, generated by a semiconductor laser formed by InGaAs/InGaAsP quantum wells. The proposed device was designed using commercial simulation software and using results obtained from the fabrication and characterization of an electronically pumped laser. the signal generated by this laser was coupled to the designed PM that allowed to filter the modes of the multimode laser, proving its ability to select a single resonance, approaching the output of the photonic system of a tunable single-mode laser.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação do fator de ajuste dinâmico presente nos métodos de localização MCLA e WCL(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-05) Tahara, David; Fontes, João Vitor de Carvalho; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9473668144091435The revolution and importance of geolocalization technologies involving satellite signals has increasingly, in recent decades, extended to indoor environments. In this environments, GPS systems have signal attenuation, due to physical barriers and, consenquently, malfunction or no functioning. The internal location needs are broad and range from locating people in hospitals, from the firefighter in a burning environment, to the industry to locate parts or raw materials in the manufacturing environment. So, technologies that solve problems of localization in internal environments arise, being quite common nowadays the localization based on the received signal strength, due to the low implementation cost and simplicity. The localization process involves trilateration algorithms for position estimation. Two of these methods are the Modified Centroid Localization Algorithm (MCLA) and Weighted Centroid Localization (WCL) which in their optimized forms have a dynamic adjustment factor to improve accuracy. This work consists of evaluating the dynamic adjustment through computer simulation on two fronts: the first is an extensive search for the dynamic adjustment factor that minimizes the average error of the evaluated set of points; the second also searches extensively, but for adjustment factors that minimize the point-to-point error. A comparison is made between the results, together with the result of a value of dynamic adjustment found at literature. The simulations were satisfactory and the methodology presented allowed the average error to be smaller in all application cases.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Florestas comestíveis, o potencial da biodiversidade alimentar nativa na Floresta Nacional de Ipanema(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-05) Guilherme, André; Leite, Eliana Cardoso; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2186623269243747; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2689063686436858Currently 50.104 of 381.959 accepted plant species, 13.11% of the world flora, are Brazilian, many of them with real or potencial value for agriculture and food. Also known as food biodiversity, numerous of these negletcted and underutilized species may have important characteristics for the economy, nutrition, food, and could also be strategic in the face of a range of global environmental changes. However, local varieties and species of food plants are threatened around the world, representing serious risk to global food security. On the other hand, a large part of this biodiversity can be found in protected areas, special places which are maneged for in situ conservations purpouse. In that connection this study explore the idea that protected areas like Ipanema National Forests (Flona de Ipanema) can shelter withing their territories a litlle-explore food biodiversity. While a sustainable-use area the Flona de Ipanema is afforting protection to valuable areas of Atlantic Rainforest and Cerrado and support a high biodiversity. Therefore, the objectiv of this study are (1) make a food biodiversity inventory of Brazilian flora in Flona de Ipanema, evidencing its alimentary value and strategic importance for environmental conservation, and (2) investigate the perception of visitors about the ecossistem provisioning services provide by the protected area. The results are presented in two chapters. The first chapter show the presence of an almost unnoticed food biodiversity, represented by 22 species, and seeks demonstrate their current and potential use, and links due to multiple-use, to evironmental, social and economic aspects, benefiting both the Flona de Ipanema and the surrounding population. The second charpter demonstrate that the ecossistem provisioning (food) services is not percieved by visitors, a fact that could be associeted to the main emphasis of public-use programs, that are historically founded in cultural services activities perceived by 89%, followed by supporting services, 10%, with no mention of regulating services. The informations surveyed in this study also make possible to create tools to enable the native food biodiversity conservation, sustainable use and income generation, encrease the capacity to montitoring, management and use of Flona de Ipanema resources. Fourthermore, there is the possibility to use the first charpter results to design new activities and improve the visitor experience.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Booktubers e a ostentação virtual de suas bibliotecas: uma análise discursiva do orgulho de ser leitor(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-06) Marins, Lara Martelini; Ferreira, Luzmara Curcino; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4849994635754652; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6592164326303004In this TCC, we are dedicated to the analysis of certain current practices, specifically to internet users, known as booktubers, who record on video, on their YouTube channels, their reading habits and opinions about books. Among the long practices, one of them consists of a tour of sample books through their personal libraries, to which they present their books, explain how they are organized, how programs for these readings, how they acquire these titles, which are their favorites, as well as other books, like yours, decorate their symbols of reading culture and communities. This practice is known among them as bookshelf tour. It interests us as an object of analysis insofar as it indicates discourses about reading in vogue among us and represents the updating, in practices, of discourses. The apprehension of these discourses and the description of their functioning is the common object/objective of the research carried out at LIRE – Laboratory of Reading Studies (CNPq-UFSCar), coordinated by Profa Luzmara Curcino. Under her guidance, and in accordance with the research project she is currently conducting, entitled “Proud readers, ashamed readers: emotions in reading discourses”, our main objective is to reflect on the forms of expression of “pride” that make up the discourses on reading, as manifested in these videos presenting the personal libraries of booktubers. These tours through the shelves with printed books are related to historical practices, such as literary collecting, and update, through the digital media available today, certain practices marked by the “pride” of the reader condition, through self-representation as someone who reads a lot and always, that they have many books, printed and fictional above all, and that they feel sufficiently authorized to talk about the plot of these books, issue evaluative opinions about the works and their authors, express themselves about the practice of reading and recommend it to their followers. In these self-representations, a series of consensual, socioculturally validated, long-standing discourses about this practice are mobilized. Our data collection and analysis sought to describe certain discursive forms of updating this “pride” in relation to reading. To this end, our analysis was theoretically and methodologically supported by principles of Discourse Analysis and Cultural History of Reading, as well as studies carried out by LIRE researchers on the profile of Brazilian readers, especially in their recent research, in which they address the emotions related to discourses about reading.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Avaliação de quatro algoritmos de trilateração baseados em RSSI considerando a variação do número de nós fixos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2022-10-06) Ohashi, Felipe Tetsuo; Fontes, João Vitor de Carvalho; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9473668144091435Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are machines of great importance these days, as they are no longer a resource that was previously limited to military use but are beginning to exist in the everyday life of society. This change is due to the advancement of technology and the prevalence of his IoT (Internet of Things), where devices are becoming more and more connected. The use of drones for tracking has a variety of applications that exist in fields such as military, agriculture, and government. RSSI is one of the most popular distance estimation techniques, notable for its wide use in traditional wireless technologies and its presence in highly available and easy acquisition devices. The current work proposes a simulation using the RSSI, Received Signal Strength Indicator, method using four different trilateration algorithms to determine the number of anchor nodes from which signals are generated to determine the desired position. Check precision and accuracy in different scenarios. Heatmaps were generated for each trilateration method using MATLAB software to obtain the behavior of the parameters selected for qualitative analysis of the results. Using the data generated by the simulations, mean errors and standard deviations medium values were calculated to allow a general assessment of the algorithm's performance. Comparing the extracted results allowed the identification the strengths and weaknesses of each method applied to RSSI, opening the possibility of using any one of the four algorithms in certain scenarios, although the presented It does not obviate the need to empirically verify the performances presented. From the three chosen parameters, it was possible to estimate IoT applications in which each triangulation method would have a better performance. Assuming, for example, situations in which there would be a need for greater accuracy for an application in drone location or a scenario where the position processing was crucial.
