listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Professores da Educação Infantil (com formação em Educação Física): percepções e possibilidades sobre a BNCC e o arranjo curricular por campos de experiências(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Diana, Fernando; Alves, Fernando Donizete; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3812723309905378; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9354-7851; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2926057313051178; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1810-1312The publication of the National Common Curriculum Base (BNCC), in December 2017, brought challenges to Early Childhood Education: one of them was to reflect on the ways to approach children's experiences in order to build a contextualized pedagogical practice full of meanings, both for the children and for the teachers themselves, within a curricular conception that differs from the other stages of basic education despite being integrated with them. The organization of this document raised questions: what would be the perception of Early Childhood Education teachers (with a background in Physical Education) about the BNCC for this stage of Basic Education? What do these teachers understand about the new proposition that has been introduced: the curricular arrangement by fields of experience? Is it possible for teachers with a specific degree (in the case of this study, in Physical Education) to work within this proposal? Starting from the hypothesis that there should be difficulties in understanding, either the BNCC itself as a document, or of the proposition of the idea of "curricular arrangement by fields of experience", considering that not even the document itself presents definitions or conceptualizations about the term, we propose this work aiming, by discussing the perception of the BNCC and the terms within it, especially those related to the idea of fields of experience, in the part of Early Childhood Education teachers (with a degree in Physical Education), to deepen the reflections on the conceptual organization of the BNCC for the stage of Early Childhood Education and propose possibilities of action, overcoming the logic of the schooling model, by thinking about it and making it effective as a space where conditions are created for educational experiences to happen, organized with the children, in which through interactions, play, observations, explorations, investigations, raising hypotheses, answers to questions and curiosities are sought. Hence, the work was organized in five chapters: Chapter 1 presents the history of Early Childhood Education and Brazilian School Physical Education, in a process of contextualization and understanding of how the past organizes and introduces the present; in Chapter 2, we discussed Early Childhood Education and Physical Education inserted in this stage of basic education today, addressing the implementation of the BNCC in our country, specifically in the Early Childhood Education stage, and presented reflections on Physical Education, as an area of knowledge, in this stage; Chapter 3 brings as the central axis of discussion the fields of experience, mainly from Finco (2015) and Fochi (2015; 2020), Dewey's ideas regarding the meaning and significance of the concept of experience, and the proposal and discussion of four principles as guiding axes for the organization of pedagogical practice by fields of experience: the principles of interaction, continuity, significance, and playfulness; the field research is in Chapter 4, presenting the methodological paths of qualitative research, the data collection by the Focus Group technique, its analysis from Bardin (2016) and the organization of Early Childhood Education in the city studied; Finally, Chapter 5 presents and discusses the categories of analysis extracted from the group's narrative and their respective units of record. The analysis of the data showed that we were right in our hypothesis that there were difficulties in understanding, either the BNCC itself as a normative document, or the proposition of the idea of curricular arrangement by fields of experience, since we are talking about a concept under construction and, as such, it is not finished for any teacher.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Análise espaço-temporal de encalhes de aves marinhas no litoral sul e sudeste brasileiro(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Rodrigues, Regiane da Silva; Branco, Joaquim Olinto; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3241905846920207; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0469098538796549The group of seabirds is composed of different species with unique physiological adaptations that allow them to forage and migrate long distances in the ocean. These characteristics make them a crucial link between marine and terrestrial environments, providing essential services for ecosystem balance. However, they are exposed to a wide range of natural and anthropogenic threats that impact their populations, potentially resulting in the stranding of moribund or dead specimens on beaches worldwide. The processes behind these events are poorly understood, so this study aimed to analyze the strandings of seabirds on the south and southeast coasts of Brazil. The goal was to understand possible spatial and temporal patterns of strandings, as well as the influences of environmental and anthropogenic variables, during the years 2016 and 2019. The results revealed a well-defined spatial pattern, with higher abundance, richness, and diversity of strandings in the southern mesoregions and a decrease in the northern mesoregions along the Brazilian coast. Temporal patterns varied mainly by migratory status. Ecological indices of resident species showed higher strandings during the spring months and were positively related to wind intensity, reflecting primarily the reproductive period and fledgling departure of these species. Migratory species from the northern hemisphere also experienced peak strandings during the spring months, related to increased wave height and wind intensity. Six major mass stranding events were observed in the spring of 2016, mainly involving Manx shearwaters Puffinus puffinus. For these species, the southern hemisphere spring reflects the trans-equatorial migration period they undertake to reach the Patagonian Shelf during the northern hemisphere winter. Strandings of birds from the southern hemisphere mainly occurred in the winter months when these species migrate to the Brazilian coast during the non-breeding period. Abundance, richness, and diversity were higher with increased wind intensity and decreased sea surface temperature. Among southern species, the Magellanic penguin Spheniscus magellanicus exhibited the highest abundance, also occurring in winter months, with females and young individuals being predominant in the stranding population structure. The stranding of this species decreased with increasing temperature and increased with higher wind intensity. However, when removing the five extreme stranding events, particularly in 2018, which seem to be related to ENSO stages, wind intensity loses significance. This exemplifies the importance of this variable in the drift of bodies at sea reaching the beaches. This thesis provides valuable information about the dynamics of the seabird community on the Brazilian coast, being the first to evaluate such an extensive stretch of beaches in Brazil and the strandings in the mesoregions that compose it. Additionally, it demonstrates that the southern coast, particularly in the state of Santa Catarina, deserves attention for the implementation of conservation actions directed towards different species of seabirds.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A doença renal crônica como deficiência e sua tutela jurídica(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Oliveira, Kleber Henrique Piva Gonçalves de; Leite, Flávia Piva Almeida; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4777562668430214; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8994-6198; Orlandi, Fabiana de Souza; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7395879552721664; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5714-6890; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4174372055530637; https://orcid.org/0009-0006-4227-1038Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a condition that affects the kidneys, vital organs responsible for filtering waste from the blood. When the kidneys do not function properly, these wastes accumulate in the body, generating several negative impacts on the physical and psychological health of patients. As the disease progresses, difficulties arise in carrying out daily activities, reducing patients' social participation. CKD is divided into 5 stages, and the focus should be expanded to stage 3, when there is a loss of 50% of the kidneys' filtration capacity and the health condition worsens. In stage 5, the negative impacts are already irreversible, requiring renal replacement therapy (kidney transplant, hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis). The lack of knowledge about CKD increases the impact on patients' lives, directly affecting their socioeconomic conditions. Society needs to act preventively to stop the spread of the disease, making the population aware of its risks and encouraging prevention measures. With the historical evolution of the rights of people with disabilities, there has been a change in the standard of knowledge in which people with disabilities are now analyzed, not only according to medical standards, but also social standards, creating the biopsychosocial model. In this way, groups of people with disabilities that were not included in today's model are now included. In view of the above, a person with chronic kidney disease must be characterized as a Person with Disability within the parameters of the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and its Optional Protocol (CRPD), and the Brazilian Inclusion Law – Law 13,146 of 06 July 2015 (LBI). With inclusion in legal scopes, these patients can be protected to the point of being able to exercise their citizenship and social inclusion on par with other members of society. Through this study it was possible to analyze the entire historical evolution of people with disabilities, the paradigm shifts from the medical model to the social model, current legislation, in addition to aspects related to the health of people with chronic kidney disease and the consequences of the disease on their life, as well as their classification as a person with a disability and their legal protection. To develop this research, the hypothetical-deductive method was adopted, which is based on bibliographic and documentary research through specific legislation on the topic, books and scientific articles in the area of law and health. In this way, it was possible to verify that chronic kidney disease presents several negative outcomes in the patient's life, such as reduced quality of life, loss of work capacity, social isolation, water and food restrictions, among others, causing obstructions to their full and effective participation in society, that is, people with CKD in interaction with social barriers must be considered people with disabilities from their 3rd stage. An integrative literature review study was also carried out in which the bidirectional relationship between CKD and the high unemployment rate became evident.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Soluções de equações do 1º grau com duas variáveis, num contexto geométrico, com o auxílio do software Geogebra(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Amadeu, Marcelo Bonfante; Sampaio, João Carlos Vieira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8286887389013685; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8874317149806435; https://orcid.org/0009-0002-1960-6507This work aims to carry out the study of the 1st degree equations with two variables, by using not only the algebraic context but also the understanding of the same in the geometric context, being this proposal developed by students of the 8th year of fundamental school, who will carry out seven activities, namely: 1st degree equations with two variables; Ordered pairs and their location in the Cartesian plane; Results of a 1st degree equation with two variables in the Cartesian plane; Solutions of a 1st degree equation with two variables; Systems of two linear equations with two unknowns; Problems with systems of 1st degree equations and Analysis of the different graphic resolutions of a system. The objective is to make the students understand the relationship of the algebraic expressions presented by interpreting the results obtained from them geometrically, so that they can improve the learning process, overcome their difficulties, be prepared and can achieve a better use in future situations involving the topic at hand. It is worth highlighting the use of the GeoGebra software by the students during most of the proposed activities. At times, 2nd degree algebraic expressions are presented with the intention that, when confronted with 1st degree algebraic expressions, they can perceive, when using the GeoGebra software, which graphic results are generated by each one of them, noticing their differences.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Concepções e experiências de profissionais de saúde de uma Rede de Atenção Psicossocial sobre o Projeto Terapêutico Singular(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Sousa, Érica Santiago; Frizzo, Heloisa Cristina Figueiredo; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7671727745372896; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7661-0353; Fioroni, Luciana Nogueira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8086810053892035; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2311-7848; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0464897088371955; https://orcid.org/0009-0001-9664-3689The Singular Therapeutic Project (PTS) constitutes an important assistance, management and training strategy for the equipment of the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) in the Unified Health System (SUS). It has been incorporated in different ways, with weaknesses in both the way of understanding and operating this resource. This qualitative-interpretative study aimed to investigate the conceptions and experiences of the construction of the PTS in the RAPS of a small municipality in the interior of São Paulo. 19 RAPS workers and managers participated, through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, analyzed using the thematic content analysis technique. Three sets of analytical categories resulted: PTS itself; Organization of services and influencers on the use of PTS in RAPS; Articulation of RAPS and comprehensive and intersectoral care strategies. It was evident that understandings of the PTS tend to simplify its dimensions, suppressing its formative and reflective character, as well as mischaracterizing the procedural and participatory dimension of its construction. The articulation between RAPS points generally occurs through individual initiatives, without devices that facilitate the institutionalization of network care. In this sense, we strongly recommend training investment in PTS as a strategy for comprehensive care and more effective management in mental health. We recognize the PTS as a means of inducing the strengthening of municipal health policy linked to Permanent Health Education. This research arises from the researcher's involvement as a SUS worker and ends with concrete perspectives of products for local workers and managers (training workshops), and indirectly to RAPS users, due to the potential for transforming care practices.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Implantação e produção de tilápia-do-nilo (Oreochromis niloticus) em viveiro escavado(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Oliveira, Henrique Manoel dos Santos; Stipp, Danilo Tancler; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2930975168886154; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9577-2446Fish farming in Brazil has undergone important transformations, and many expectations are expected in relation to this activity, there are several advantages that the country has, but it is essential to discuss the sustainable principles and prerequisites that need to be included in all small-scale activity processes, with a special focus on tilapia farming. This carefully crafted study aims to empower local producers by offering practical insights to optimize efficiency and maximize profitability. Exploring several essential topics, such as the appropriate choice of species, water management practices, nutrition guidance and implementation of good cultivation practices, the guide seeks not only to increase production, but also to strengthen economic sustainability and contribute to food security of the community. The preference for tilapia is highlighted due to its remarkable adaptability and rapid growth, characteristics crucial for success in small-scale fish farming. This approach aims to not only share knowledge, but also promote practices that drive economic prosperity and food self-sufficiency among small, local producers. It is worth mentioning that the preparation of this review was based on bibliographic material specialized in fish farming, thus guaranteeing the quality and technical support of the content presented. In short, this initiative seeks to offer practical and sustainable support to local producers, aiming for economic development and food security in the region.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Starteca: biblioteca universitária como hub de inovação(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Camargo, Rafaela Cristina de; Amaral, Roniberto Morato do; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6958372164719600; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0030393328315842; Bueno, Alexandre; Silva, Elaine da; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6407503018881551; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7336831085564832The activities of the entrepreneurial university include carrying out disruptive activities aimed at innovation and technological and social academic entrepreneurship, in this context the activities and competencies of the university library are expanded. The diagnosis was carried out based on the characterization of the study area, which included the identification of changes in river courses, the characterization of the use and occupation of urban land and, finally, field evaluations. Once this diagnosis was made, the next step was to carry out an analysis of the main impacts in the basin. This research had the importance of being part of the environmental concerns currently in vogue. It also attempts to shed light on local issues relating to weaknesses in public management in relation to the ecosystem services provided by water systems in the Educandos watershed in the urban area of Manaus (AM).listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Formação docente em ensino diferenciado responsivo à diversidade de todos os alunos(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Milhomem, Walkyria de Araújo; Mendes, Enicéia Gonçalves; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3897627554738983; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3673-0681; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7054305228211963; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4048-5543The SARS-CoV-19 pandemic experienced in Brazil between 2020 and 2021 has highlighted the weaknesses of the Brazilian education system in terms of learning gaps. In this context, the Research Group on Human Resources Training for Special Education GP-FOREESP developed a research project called "Collaborative Action to Mitigate Educational Inequalities Resulting from the COVID-19 Pandemic: Contributions from Research on School Inclusion - (PAC-COVID19)". The present study is one of the five modules of the project which aimed to develop, implement and evaluate a continuing education program based on Differentiated Education (DE). The participants were 38 professionals: 01 manager, 09 resource room teachers, 10 pedagogical coordinators, 10 from the multidisciplinary team and 08 elementary school teachers (1st to 3rd grade). The study was conducted through three virtual meetings lasting 2 hours/class, held fortnightly online, with synchronous activities such as availability of readings, videos and activities available on the Google Classroom platform, as well as collaborative actions to draw up lesson plans. Data was collected through oral interviews, teachers' reports of filming training meetings, the researcher's field diary and the final training evaluation form. The data was analyzed using the ATLAS.ti software and the results obtained are presented in two sections denominated as DE principles and Program Training Assessment. These discuss the results in terms of the participants' understanding of the theoretical concepts and principles presented and how they were articulated in their practical activities. As a result of the training, the participants developed classes with proposals that took into account the different levels of readiness, interests and learning profiles, revealed through the choice of content, processes and products developed in flexible groupings. The students' engagement in the classes taught by the docents, as well as their knowledge of the new teaching methods, resulted in 65.15% of participants giving the highest marks for their satisfaction with the training program. Thus, we conclude that the provision of continuing education in DE had an impact on improving the engagement and protagonism of the students in the initial grades in which the teachers participating in the training taught, as well as contributing to increasing the effectiveness of teaching due to the various skills that were developed in a single lesson and significantly improving lesson planning, also managing to contribute to the process of continuous assessment of the public of Special Education without the need for individualized adaptations. The training had an innovative theoretical/practical proposal that contributed to teaching in heterogeneous classrooms insofar as it made it possible to respond to the diversity of the students. Thus, this approach proved to be efficient in favoring inclusive schools, and the success of its applicability can also be associated with collaboration between educators and working conditions that guarantee better time for joint lesson planning.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Desenvolvimento de produtos à base de plástico reciclado de embalagens de defensivos agrícolas: um estudo sobre cadeias de suprimentos regionais na ótica da Economia Circular(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Pilla Junior, Paschoal José de; Pimenta, Márcio Lopes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3026927581342826; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3899-3274; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1932050465942435; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0113-9288Circular Economy (CE) is associated with the practices of reducing, reusing, and recycling products and raw materials. This approach is particularly linked to product development processes, aiming for transitions from conventional and linear processes to more circular approaches. Plastic packaging used for agricultural pesticide storage, after use, is stored and later sent for recycling, covering long distances, incurring costs, and emitting polluting gases. This study aims to analyze the concept of Short Supply Chains (SSC) in the context of plastic packaging recycling, prioritizing the optimization of transportation, storage, and product development for local consumption. Based on in-depth interviews, this research adopts a case study approach to investigate supply chains that involve plastic packaging originating from the use of agricultural pesticides in the Alto Paranaíba and Triângulo Mineiro regions in Minas Gerais. The case study reveals that, although the current supply chain, which focuses on complying with legislation and providing proper disposal for used packaging, operates efficiently in terms of collection and recycling, the structure supporting this chain generates costs and inefficiencies leading to an operational deficit. The adoption of an SSC, in the context of pesticide packaging recycling and local production, refers to a more direct and proximate system between the stages of the supply chain, reducing physical distances and intermediaries, thus promoting a more efficient approach. Local recycling for the production of circular products, aiming to meet regional demand, can provide environmental, economic, and social benefits. However, these changes depend on redefining paradigms related to product development and current legislation, especially concerning packaging ownership. This research not only proposes a sustainable approach to plastic waste management but also highlights practical challenges that require concrete actions for the effective implementation of a shorter supply chain, aligning with sustainable development goals and generating significant economic and environmental benefits for the involved regions. While the study focuses on the agricultural sector, identifying specific opportunities, there is potential for its application in various segments, sectors, and regions. It is believed that the proposed approach is highly generalizable, potentially stimulating entrepreneurship in small and medium-sized local enterprises.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Evolução biológica e mídia-educação: problematizando uma sequência didática(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Camargo, Blendon Dias; Siqueira, Alexandra Bujokas de; Sales, Nilva Lúcia Lombardi; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6092092558776882; https://lattes.cnpq.br/3835640903769452The present study constructed and analyzed a didactic sequence (DS) in science education that, associated with critical perspectives in education, was built on two axes: biological evolution and media education. Working with these two axes, this study proposes a praxis beyond the curriculum in that it considers critical and reflective dimensions in the relationships between Technology, Science, Society, Environment, and, more specifically, media. Based on this, the possible contributions of this DS to the teaching and learning process in the final years of elementary school were discussed, understanding that there are potentials related to student protagonism, dialogicity, autonomy, group work, creativity, and critical thinking. This study is qualitative, using field observations, questionnaires, and analyses of the material produced by students. The data showed that the vast majority of students had no knowledge of biological evolution and used non-scientific sources of information to explain biodiversity. In contrast, at the end of the DS, students criticized sources that spread misinformation and used evolution concepts to counter fake news. Finally, it was observed that the association between evolution and media occurred with positive results because, with autonomy, students put this into practice in the last activity of the DS, revealing that the concepts related to the two themes were learned, articulated, and applied critically.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Estudo computacional de nanoestruturas de ouro funcionalizadas com moléculas orgânicas quirais(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Silva, Augusto Cesar Azevedo; Moura, André Farias de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0746428641961163; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1974-4803; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5768923111678024; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2496-5574In this present work was carried out the computational study of the functionalization of gold nanoparticles in spherical shape with L-amino acids using molecular dynamics simulations and geometry optimizations at DFTB level (Density Functional Tight-Binding) using Hamiltonian GFN1-xTB and phase space scanning through classic calculations to determine initial configurations. A determination of the ini- tial configurations performed using phase space scanning, it turned out that the L-amino acids have a tendency to interact on the nanostructure in the face (111) and low tendency to interact with the face (110). Simulations of semi-empirical quantum molecular dynamics of structure corresponding to the global minimum showed that there is a preference of the L-amino acids in interacting with the AuNP through the sites carbonylic and chiral carbon amino as well as the nitrogenated sites existing in their side chain which occurs for arginine, lysine and histidine. The interactions between AuNP and L-amino acids are covalent but of low intensity. confirmed by resorting to the analysis of the surface of the molecular orbitals and Wiberg binding orders of the structures. The adsorption of amino acids on the surface of the AuNPs presented chiral responses, confirmed by the calculation of the spectrum of electronic circular dicroysm and dissimetric factor g (g-factor) and HCM (Medida de quiralidade de Hausdorff). Which demonstrates that the amino acids are capable of inducing chirality in the AuNP. The intensity varies depending on the amino acid used, however, phenylalanine, tryptophan, lysine, arginine, histidine and aspartate and glutamic acids are the ones that most induce chirality in the system.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Espaço de formação de Coordenadores Pedagógicos: Núcleo Pedagógico da Diretoria Regional de Ensino do Estado de São Paulo(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2023-12-14) Marangon, Ana Carolina Boaretto; Gama, Renata Prenstteter; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4153572041829838; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6338-4345; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9468807184848106The main objective of the present research is to identify and understand the potential of the Pedagogical Center of the Regional Education Board as a space for training Pedagogical Coordinators. To this end, it was necessary to undertake a historical journey, from its creation in 1987, to the present day, in order to contextualize to the reader the work developed by this “pedagogical space” of São Paulo State Department of Education, along these years. A Qualitative Research in Education was also carried out with the Coordinating Teachers of the Pedagogical Center (CTPC), currently called Curriculum Specialist Teacher (CET), on the work developed by the Pedagogical Center with regard to the Training of Pedagogical Coordinators, highlighting the Technical Guidelines, Monitoring Training, Collective Pedagogical Work Class Training and Classroom Observation work. Throughout the chapters, we seek to bring theoretical references on the Training of Pedagogical Coordinators, especially the construction of professional identity, the processes of reflection and collaboration, as well as references on Classroom Observation, such as Vera Placco, Laurinda Ramalho and Vera Trevisan (2011, 2012, 2014), Maria Amélia Franco (2008), Lino de Macedo (2002), Dóris Bolzán (2002) and Pedro Reis (2011), as well as documents from the Department of Education itself. The methodology is anchored in theoretical references such as Marli André and Bernardete Gatti (2008), Ludke Menga (1986) and Adriana Ferro Moura (2014), to support the research and dialogue with the data constructed through a questionnaire and conversation circle. In the analysis of the data obtained, categories were created a priori, in the case of the questionnaire, and a posteriori in relation to the conversation circle. The research results indicate the development of a training work by the Pedagogical Center together with the Pedagogical Coordinators, through the Technical Guidelines and mainly in the Training Monitoring carried out by the CTPC and teaching supervisor in the schools, the latter being much more significant and punctual regarding the continued training of the Pedagogical Coordinator. Thus, the results indicate that the Pedagogical Center is a very relevant space for continued training of the Pedagogical Coordinator.
