listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Impacto das horas extras na vida dos trabalhadores: estudo de caso em uma indústria química no setor automobilístico(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Mizuno, Stella Miki; Fontes, Andréa Regina Martins; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4848646681792317; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9670-6221Over time, it was observed how long working hours could negatively impact workers' lives. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the consequences of these long hours on the worker's physical and mental health, as well as on their family and social life. For this purpose, interviews were carried out with 10 employees from a chemical industry in the automobile sector with the aim of understanding how overtime impacts these people's lives. As a result, it was found that, when it is done more overtime, workers tend to become more anxious and stressed, which can lead to muscle and headache pain, insomnia, weight gain, among others. Furthermore, when they work too much, they end up not being able to spend much time with friends and family. With this, it was possible to conclude that it is important to seek a balance between personal life and work. Another important factor to consider is the importance of labor laws to limit working hours and thus protect workers, since this research has shown that many workers avoid working excessive overtime due to these laws.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Percepções do trabalho e da aposentadoria por trabalhadores de uma regional de saúde/SP(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Santos, Ruth da Luz; Pedro, Wilson José Alves; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8135701448186851; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9540-7078; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9083464030996102; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4573-9197The Pension Reform in Brazil brought profound changes to the process of retiring, which is complex in itself, and among the different variables affected, is the relationship between identity and work. Furthermore, Brazil is in the process of aging its population, which has consequently led to the aging of public and private organizations. Given this scenario, the study of perceptions of work and retirement is opportune to better understand the correlations between both, this phase of life and develop strategies that help in adapting to it. Therefore, the main objectives of the dissertation were to characterize the organization and functioning of a regional department of the State Department of Health of São Paulo, and to carry out a study on the sociodemographic profile and perceptions of work and retirement of workers in that region. 20 employees aged 50 or over from the Regional Department of Health of the State Secretariat participated in the collection. For data collection, a survey was carried out in freely accessible databases, documents available at the regional office, semi-structured interviews and the Thematic Apperception Test. As preliminary results, the servers were aged between 51 and 68 years old, of which 16 (80%) were women. 50% of participants were married and 8 (40%) had completed higher education. 30% (6) held the position of Technical Director and 30% (6) the position of Administrative Officer, with the time worked in the Department varying between 1 and 35 years. Data analysis was done through Content Analysis and the instrument manual. It was possible to observe the multiplicity of meanings perceived by the participants, with more positive meanings being attributed to work, highlighting its centrality in the individual's life, and to retirement multiple meanings, positive and negative, such as “freedom” and “new cycle”. The results were organized and presented in the articles “What now, José? Considerations on some psychosocial dimensions in the transition to retirement” and “Perceptions of Work and Retirement by Workers in a Health Region/SP”. Perceptions were influenced by several factors, macro and micro, from personal and organizational contexts, and in addition, it was possible to observe how the perception of work influenced the perception of retirement. Through the findings, we hope to contribute to the development of actions that promote active aging.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Cálculo variacional: uma breve introdução e aplicações(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Silva, Vinícius Marques da; Rodrigues, Rodrigo da Silva; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9606661651573155; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6811-7625; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2074927889032559The aim of this end-of-course work is to present a brief introduction to variational calculus and its applications. In this way, the development consists of recalling concepts of normed vector spaces, metric spaces and differential and integral calculus. Subsequently, these concepts will be refined for the study of functionals, where concepts about the Fréchet and Gâteaux derivatives, as well as the Euler equation, will inevitably arise. Finally, we will discuss sufficient conditions for extrema.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Ensino médio: estudo bibliométrico da produção científica na plataforma EDUC@ (1976-2021)(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Franzo, Yago Caue dos Santos; Hayashi, Maria Cristina Piumbato Innocentini; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7263318849588556; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4732801693363409The theme of this Master's thesis is High School in Brazil. The investigation posed the following research question: How is the Brazilian scientific production on High School configured in a database of scientific articles in the field of Education? To answer this question, the general objective was set to analyze the scientific production on the investigated theme available on the Educ@ platform of the Fundação Carlos Chagas, which consists of a collection of scientific journals in the field of Education. The research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive of a quantitative-qualitative nature, conducted through bibliometric approach methodologies and content analysis. The research corpus was composed of articles (n=649) published between 1976 and 2021 available in Educ@. The methodological procedures involved the following steps: establishment of the research's theoretical framework; selection of the data source; definition of search expressions in the database; data collection and recording in a research database; definition of the research's quantitative categories based on the bibliometric approach (profile of articles and journals, profile of authors, profile of authorship); and qualitative categories based on content analysis. Among the main results obtained, it stands out that the articles were published between 1976 and 2021 in 56 different journals, with the majority of titles classified in the highest strata (A1-A4) of the Qualis/Capes list; there were a total of 1,305 authors, of which the majority (61.8%) are women and the rest (41.2%) are men; co-authorships prevailed (67.2%) and individual articles (n=213) represented 32.8% of the total; the most frequent type of research was applied study (97.5%) with the remainder (2.5%) being theoretical studies. The content analysis of the articles allowed the categorization of the articles into 16 thematic categories, with the most frequent being 'school content and teacher training' (n=257) and adolescents (n=70). The following research designs were also identified: case studies (n=336); documentary (n=157); bibliographic (n=81), bibliographic-documental (n=50), field study or ethnographic research (n=8), and surveys (n=17). In conclusion, by extensively exploring the Brazilian scientific production on High School, the study not only revealed the evolution and predominant trends of this theme but also provided valuable insights into how legal frameworks influence educational formation in Brazil, highlighting the need for continuous revisions and updates to meet the contemporary and future demands of Brazilian society.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Dimensão psíquica da questão do racismo: relações raciais entre empregadas domésticas negras e empregadoras/es brancas/os(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Santos, Regiane Oliveira dos; Câmara, Leonardo Cardoso Portela; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0876503068661138The legacy of slavery and the persistence of structural racism are deeply rooted in Brazilian racial relations, with women being particularly affected. The labor of enslaved Black women within the intimate spaces of the slave-owning patriarchal households established a dynamic that interwove labor exploitation with a supposed relationship of affection and submission. This contributed to the perception of Black women as integral members of the family in the landowning classes. This study aims to investigate the psychic dimension of the issue of racism in the experience of Black women who work or have worked as domestic workers and/or nannies for white families, using a psychoanalytic theoretical framework. As a research tool, this study employed the Narrative Interview in Free Association. The collected data highlighted aspects of the relationship between the space designated for wet nurses and that assigned to domestic workers. Ideologically structured social representations that permeate the experience of Black women emerge in racial relations between Black domestic workers and white employers, revealing the dynamics of racial tensions in the private sphere. In this condition, the body of Black women is subjected to the violence of the ideal of whiteness, being positioned as the "Other." Domestic work performed by Black women of low income for middle and upper-class women not only perpetuates inequalities but also involves ambiguities in affective logics. The marks inscribed by affection and dedication in the care of children by Black nannies reveal an environment permeated by symbolic abuses and violence, exacerbated by the absence of boundaries regarding adequate working conditions and low wages. Psychic marks from the impacts of racism are not confined to the concrete situations of experienced discrimination but become evident from the earliest childhood, in crucial moments of psychic formation. The seemingly paradigmatic dynamic between Black domestic workers and white employers proved to be conflict-ridden, permeated by violence, humiliations, and punishments.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Nos riscos da Pedagogia: uma narrativa entre (auto)biografia e o autorretrato(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Paulino, Beatriz de Souza; Doin, Rafael Romeiro; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9984036089729552; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4255-2407; Santos, Maria Walburga dos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2954227254025696; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9304-5800; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8855668370491330; https://orcid.org/0009-0008-2195-4280The main problem of the present study is to investigate how a person's experiences and life events, when recorded in the form of a self-portrait, can influence the construction of body image. To answer this question, I delved into my own self-portraits that have been created since 2016, before entering undergraduate studies, observing how my perception of myself and my body has changed over time and how drawing myself has contributed to these changes in body image. I drew inspiration from other artists, such as Frida Kahlo, who also reflected their lives in prints. Additionally, I explored the importance of cultivating a positive self-perception from early childhood, emphasizing that this is supported by law. The significance of the pedagogy course as a formative space is evident in this narrative, as it shaped many transformative experiences that underpin this research. The theoretical, aesthetic, and ethical references have transformed my perspective since 2018, and through the visual records presented here, it is possible to compare and identify the points of rupture and mending in the threads of my experience. This work is constituted as a qualitative bibliographical research with an autobiographical narrative character that led to some points of reflection, including: the knowledge derived from experience; self-portrait as a record; body image; and the influence of social violence on the body.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Ensino de ciências na educação infantil: uma análise explanatória das publicações científicas disponíveis na biblioteca SciELO(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Zorel, Paulo Eduardo; Calzolari Neto, Anselmo João; https://lattes.cnpq.br/4906309581958797; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6703-9079This study sought to carry out a documentary analysis of scientific publications researching the teaching of science in the early childhood education age group, pupils aged three (3) to six (6), and which were found in the SciELO digital library. The SciELO library was selected because it is a free platform with a wide reach. The documentary analysis parameters described by Bardin were adopted, using the descriptors “early childhood education”, “childhood”, “science education” and “science education” for the initial search. In quantitative terms, a greater number of publications were found after 2009, when early childhood education became compulsory in Brazil. In a qualitative analysis, the increase in publications in the area may indicate the pairing of research with new public policy proposals, especially for early childhood education (compulsory enrollment) and basic education (approval of the BNCC) in the period observed. We also identified intersecting themes among the selected articles, bringing up points about the particularities of the teaching-learning process in science in early childhood education.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Matemática com barbantes: uma introdução à Teoria dos Nós(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Silveira, Deborah Silva; Malagutti, Pedro Luiz Aparecido; https://lattes.cnpq.br/5462523657624050This work aims to present a proposal for teaching Knot Theory through magic tricks and games with yarn, introducing mathematical concepts in a playful way in Basic Education. Initially, there will be a contextualization of the history and relevance of Knot Theory; subsequently, magic tricks and games involving yarn will be proposed, serving as tools for the understanding of the studied concepts and promoting benefits such as the development of motor coordination and logical reasoning. An analysis of national curriculum guidelines will be conducted, demonstrating the proposal’s contribution to educational objectives. Questions from mathematical competitions such as the Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad for Public Schools (OBMEP) and the Kangaroo Mathematics Contest will be presented, highlighting the practical applicability of the knowledge. The work was implemented in a state school, both in regular classes, aiming to make learning more engaging, and in workshop format, allowing the practical exploration of knots to promote comprehensive, meaningful, and enjoyable education.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Heróis usam máscara?: representações sociais de profissionais do SUS durante a pandemia de COVID-19(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Oliveira, Luana Mota; Fioroni, Luciana Nogueira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8086810053892035; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2311-7848; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8144922600242446In recent decades, we have been following the dismantling of public health policies in Brazil, worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, in this scenario, speeches emerged that portrayed SUS professionals as heroic figures. With this in mind, this study's object of analysis was Care Work in public health, particularly, the predominant social representations regarding it in the pandemic situation. We aimed to carry out a critical investigation and analysis on the Public Health System (SUS) professionals representations as heroines and heroes in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, based on publications on online social networks and journalistic media, in order to understand their assumptions and implications for the performance of these professionals, as well for the constitution of their subjectivities. This is a qualitative, interpretative-comprehensive study, whose database was documentary – public domain publications in journalistic media and online social networks, from February 2020 to January 2022. We used the Theory of Social Representations as a reference for data processing and analysis. The corpus of analysis was composed of 522 publications: 55 from Globo; 46 from Folha de São Paulo; 130 from Estado de São Paulo; 15 of Portal Terra; 38 from Rede HumanizaSUS and 238 from Twitter. This data set resulted in 6 analytical categories: (1) Heroism as recognition and reification; (2) Adversities arising from COVID-19 for SUS workers; (3) (Ir)Responsibilities of the federal government in the spread of COVID-19; (4) The hero behind the mask: ethical-political suffering of SUS workers in the COVID-19 pandemic; (5) SUS as a potency despite it all; (6) The light at the end of the tunnel: Responses to the absurd (mis)Government. We discuss the ideological function exercised by speeches that represent SUS workers as heroines/heroes, since they are produced in a context of precariousness of health work and institutional abandonment on the part of the responsible authorities, especially, the federal government under Bolsonaro’s administration. Recovering the historical trajectory and political project from which our universal health system was established, seeking to reflect on its future, we conclude that it is necessary to adopt recognition strategies for its professionals anchored in materiality and collective processes.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Trajetória de vida de pessoas com deficiência e sua inclusão no mundo do trabalho: da escolarização até o contexto laboral(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Soares, Isabela Cristina Zocca; Dainez, Débora; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7896915001575779; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7896915001575779This study aimed to investigate the life trajectory of people with disabilities, focusing on the educational process, in order to identify the factors that contributed to access to the labor market. Therefore, a thorough bibliographic research was conducted to understand what is being produced about the life trajectory of these individuals. Thus, we selected studies that reported on the education process of these individuals and their integration into the labor market. Eight texts were selected for study, published in the last decade. From the analyses, it is possible to understand the challenges experienced by this population from Basic Education to entry into the labor market. Therefore, it is necessary to address the contradiction of including in a society that excludes everything and everyone who deviates from the standard of normativity rooted in collectivity. Thus, it is essential that there be advances regarding legislation and affirmative actions aimed at social participation and the eradication of discrimination against these individuals. It is also necessary to address hegemonic relationships in education, which do not address the needs and subjectivities of their students. Despite the school being a place of learning, achievements, autonomy, and socialization, it is permeated by contradictions, such as bullying, lack of attitudinal accessibility and materials for PWDs, and the lack of preparation of educators who work in these spaces.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Efeitos de audiências punitivas e não-punitivas do contexto educacional na acurácia do relato verbal de crianças(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Furtado, Pedro Alves; Cortez, Mariéle Diniz; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7927746584626515The present study evaluated the effects of two types of audiences (punitive educational agent and non-punitive educational agent), whose discriminative functions were established by verbal descriptions, on the accuracy of children's reports about their performances in a computerized game. Participants were two seven-year-old children who participated in a game where they were required to shoot at targets and then report on their performances during and at the end of each session. Baseline sessions evaluated the accuracy of participant’s reports in the presence of a neutral audience (Experimenter). Then, the discriminative functions of two audiences (punitive educational agent and non-punitive educational agent) were established by verbal descriptions. Participants were then exposed, in a alternated treatment design, to the punitive and non-punitive audience conditions to evaluate the effects of each type of audience on the accuracy of participant’s reports. Before each session, a Likert scale was presented to the participants to assess the function of the audiences. Both children showed an increase in the number of corresponding reports of errors when exposed to the non-punitive audience condition in comparison to the baseline (control) and punitive audience condition. Furthermore, the two participants emitted only non-corresponding reports about the total score at the end of the session for the punitive audience. When the audience was non-punitive or in the control condition (Experimenter), reports about the total score were accurate. Results suggest that different educational context audiences can control different reporting patterns, with the non-punitive audience producing an increase in correspondence and the punitive audience a decreasing in report accuracy, especially when the report was made directly to the audience. It’s discussed that educational agents whose goals were to obtain accurate reports on children’s performance should establish reinforcing contingencies for error or low-performance reports.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Educar por inteiro: o que podemos entender por “desenvolvimento integral” das crianças na Educação Infantil nos documentos brasileiros atuais?(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Oliveira, Laís Maria de; Camargo, Andreia Regina de Oliveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0936098182171676; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1158-2814; Santos, Maria Walburga dos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2954227254025696; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9304-5800; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2807560272215636; https://orcid.org/0009-0000-4406-6333In the midst of the recurring defense of integral development as a basis for practices in Early Childhood Education, we sought to understand the term which, at the same time as directing educational actions, points to a reading of the constitution of the human being. Over the years, many philosophers and sociologists have sought to understand the human being, which has provided the basis for many other authors, and today we find various conceptions. In addition to the bibliographical research, this work included a visit to national documents to understand how education in the country has looked at this term. Understanding the importance of this topic, especially for teachers, who are closest to children in daily educational practices, the complexity of the subject and the need for critical analysis to recognize the actions that are based on integral development and are spread throughout Brazilian schools became evident.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Evolução do setor imobiliário brasileiro: uma análise entre 2013 e 2023(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Nunes, Nicholas Blasi Trevisani Marchini; Carrara, Aniela Fagundes; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2348376949393246; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3131-2344Considering the relevance that the real estate sector has for the country's economy, as well as for the population in general, which aspires to own their dream home, the present study aimed to characterize, identify, and discuss how the real estate sector evolved in Brazil between 2013 and 2023. Specific objectives included constructing an exposition on the historical evolution of the sector to pinpoint its historical bottlenecks, as well as presenting information that qualifies the market, complementing economic variables about it. To achieve the proposed objectives, the methodology implemented was bibliographic research and descriptive analysis of secondary data. As main observed conclusions, it is noted that variables representing the economy's inflation, as well as its product, help understand real estate sector trends, but they are not sufficient for a complete understanding. The evaluation of information qualifying the sector and expressing how significant homeownership is as an objective, especially for lower-income families, proves to be of great importance.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, O complexo fraterno na formação da subjetividade(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Mamprin, Leticia Livreri Stein; Câmara, Leonardo Cardoso Portela; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0876503068661138The fraternal complex consists, succinctly, in the psychic organization of a subject facing another that he recognizes as a brother or sister, involving a complex dynamic of identifications, relational positions, etc. Understanding that this complex plays a structuring role in the psychic organization, this research, of a qualitative nature, aimed to bring a greater understanding of how the figure of the older brothers can act in the formation of the younger brother's subjectivity. It was carried out through the free association narrative interview method with two participants. In this study, despite the research method limitations, it was possible to be in contact with elements of the fraternal complex in the participants narrative: what this complex has to do with the younger brother's ego, how the fraternal complex helps to form the ego ideal and relates to object choices and the general family context. That was made through narrative observation of identifications and oppositions. It was possible to contribute, at least for one of the participants, for an active reflection of the sibling’s relationship, bringing repercussions on her relationship with her brother.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, A formação do professor de Libras: concepções, práticas e campo profissional no estágio curricular(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Lopes, Ligiane de Castro; Lacerda, Cristina Broglia Feitosa de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9468232016416725; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3250-1374; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2297617908761728; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2844-0177This study aimed to investigate how the curricular internships of the Letters LIBRAS Licentiate Degree Course are developed, context in which is trained the professional who will work in teaching LIBRAS as first language (L1) and as second language (L2), in the second segment of Elementary Education, and in Secondary and Higher Education, as recommended by Decree No. 5,626/2005. This is an exploratory research of a qualitative nature, which sought to dialogue with Vygotsky's historical-cultural theory. Seven professors from the curricular internship of Licentiate Degree Courses in Letters LIBRAS from different federal public universities collaborated in this study, who participated online, in a focal group, using the Google Meet tool. Through focal group meetings, we collected the data that emerged from the recordings of these meetings, in which teachers expressed themselves about their teaching practice during the internship. In analyzing this data, we used the methodological approach of meaning cores (AGUIAR; OZELLA, 2006; 2013), through which we seek to understand the meanings and senses of teachers’ statements. These, in turn, revealed three cores of meaning: the organization of the internship, the teachers' conceptions and the practices in the internship. Regarding the organization of internships, teachers pointed out the need for a guiding document for the internship and materials that help them guide interns about teaching LIBRAS as L1 and L2. Even so, these professionals have developed strategies for organizing this curricular component, based on experiences from other courses and their own work context. Thus, we observed that the internships follow some steps foreseen in the PPCs of the course, such as preparation, conducting, writing the report, but that, sometimes, they undergo changes depending on the demands of the students. Regarding the teachers' conceptions of the internship, we found that they understand the internship as a time to experience, reflect on teaching practice and identify with the teaching profession. We also observed that teachers' attention sometimes seems to be focused on the technical dimension of teaching, and sometimes on reflection on teaching practice, without deepening possible and necessary articulations. Regarding practices in the curricular internship, teachers pointed out gaps in the interns' performance; in addition to learning not yet achieved at this stage of training, which reveals the importance of intervening in the imminent development zone of these interns through collaborative work between them. Furthermore, we highlight that LIBRAS and the Portuguese language permeate the training process of deaf and hearing interns, which demands from the teachers the organization of activities and experiences that promote greater fluency in the languages involved, as well as learning how to teach, each one according to their own way of development.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Produção e caracterização de filmes biodegradáveis de proteína isolada de soja para o encapsulamento de Bacillus megaterium(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Godoy, Camila Reis de; Farinas, Cristiane Sanchez; Souza, Clovis Wesley Oliveira de; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9933650905615452; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0781683628437007; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9985-190X; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4335-1460; https://lattes.cnpq.br/6388961311409517; https://orcid.org/0009-0008-5646-9883The use of plant growth-promoting microorganisms has been widely cited as a sustainable and promising alternative to chemical fertilizers. Microorganism encapsulation offers notable advantages, as the cells are protected against stresses and a conducive environment for increased viability is established, leading to enhanced performance in both plants and soil. Isolated Soy Protein (ISP) is a low-cost, biodegradable product available globally. Thus, microbial inoculant formulations utilizing Isolated Soy Protein as a matrix hold significant commercial potential. This project aims to develop and characterize biodegradable films using Isolated Soy Protein as a matrix for encapsulating the bacterium B. megaterium B119, to create a platform for controlled release of biofertilizers. Additionally, it evaluates cell viability, storage time, and changes in physicochemical characteristics induced by different pH levels. The approach is based on the need for sustainable alternatives to conventional fertilizers, aiming to mitigate environmental impacts. Films were produced using the casting technique and characterized by FTIR, SEM, contact angle, permeability, swelling, and solubility. The objective was to assess encapsulation efficacy, release profile, and post-storage viability. Results showed that the pH 7.0 film had a darker coloration and higher swelling rate, favoring its release. However, in accelerated viability analysis, the best values were observed for the pH 5.0 film. In summary, the results indicate that pH significantly influences various properties of films made with Isolated Soy Protein (ISP), with the pH 5.0 film standing out for its controlled release capability and viability, and the pH 6.0 and 7.0 films for their resistance to adverse environmental conditions such as UV radiation. These findings suggest promising potential for application in the fields of biofertilizers and controlled release of microorganisms.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Educação infantil e educação antirracista: contribuição da literatura infantil(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Pimentel, Tamires Maria do Nascimento; Santos, Maria Walburga dos; https://lattes.cnpq.br/2954227254025696; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9304-5800; Camargo, Andréia Regina de Oliveira; https://lattes.cnpq.br/0936098182171676; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1158-2814; https://lattes.cnpq.br/1211452608792312; https://orcid.org/0009-0007-2802-4505This research proposes an in-depth analysis of the role of the black movement in securing rights in early childhood education. The generation of electricity through the photovoltaic effect in solar panels has grown signifi- cantly in recent years, driven by its economic and environmental benefits. Therefore, this paper presents a technical-economic analysis for the development of residential photo- voltaic generation system projects from normative, technical, and economic perspectives. This monograph will present and discuss the components of grid-connected photovoltaic generation systems, calculations for sizing and installation of photovoltaic panels, and a case study regarding the sizing of a residential photovoltaic generation system with the calculation of the economic feasibility of implementing such a system.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Construção de um instrumento lúdico para avaliar emoções pró-sociais limitadas e psicopatia(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Lisboa, Jennifer do Nascimento; Miguel, Fabiano Koich; https://lattes.cnpq.br/8404130543685490; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2498-692X; https://lattes.cnpq.br/9020439753155465Psychopathy is characterized by a group of disruptive traits, described in the literature by a manipulative interpersonal style, shallow affect, impulsivity and a parasitic lifestyle. The extension of this construct for children and adolescents is the Limited Prosocial Emotions (LPE) or cold traits, which demonstrate a tendency to evolve during development, leading to the known psychopathic profile or characteristics related to Antisocial Personality Disorder. Among the instruments used in the assessment of psychopathy or LPE are the scales Dirty Dozen, Dimensional Clinical Personality Inventory (IDCP) and Levenson Self-Report Psychopathy Scale (LSRP). Despite the vastness of instruments that assess traits of psychopathy or LPE, there is a shortage of computerized instruments that assess these constructs. In addition, there is a lac in the literature of tests that assess cold traits in different age groups. Currently, the Emotional Stories Organization Test (ESOT or TOHE) is associated with these constructs, although it still does not have more specific items aimed to evaluating LPE and psychopathy. Therefore, the aim of this study was to develop a new version of TOHE focused on the specific investigation of LPSE and psychopathy traits across a broad age range. As part of the validity studies, the research observed participants' performance on the developed instrument compared to other measures assessing similar constructs. It was expected to find significant similarities in the scores of the tests used. The research results were favorable to the initial hypothesis, indicating evidence of construct validity for the new instrument.listelement.badge.dso-typeItem, Efeitos da ordem de exposição a conjuntos de estímulos de alta e baixa preferência no ensino de um pequeno vocabulário em segunda língua(Universidade Federal de São Carlos, 2024-02-06) Lima, Paola Marins Pedroso; Cortez, Mariéle Diniz; https://lattes.cnpq.br/7927746584626515This study evaluated whether the order of exposure to high and low preferred stimulus sets during tact instruction in a foreign language would affect the acceleration of the tact learning curve and the emergence of native-to-foreign and foreign-to-native intraverbals (Portuguese-English and English-Portuguese). Six children aged seven to eight years participated in the study. Initially, a preference assessment was conducted to define the high and low preference of the stimuli used in the study. Tact and bidirectional intraverbal probes occurred before, during, and after tact instruction to assess tact responses (saying the name of the visual stimulus in the foreign language) and bidirectional intraverbal responses (saying the foreign word corresponding to the word in the native language and vice versa) in the presence of the stimulus sets employed. During tact instruction, the experimenter presented a visual stimulus and asked the child, "What is this called in English?" using a progressive prompt delay procedure (0s, 2s, and 4s). Half of the participants started instruction with the low preference set and then were exposed to instruction with the high preference set. The other half underwent instruction in the reverse order. A non-concurrent multiple baseline design between participants with intermediate probes of intraverbal responses was used. Four out of the six participants reached learning criteria (tact) in a smaller number of trials in the first stimulus set, regardless of the preference. For both stimulus sets, tact instruction consistently produced high levels of emergence of intraverbal responses, confirming the literature in the field. Regardless the order of exposure, participants showed higher levels of maintenance for the tact and intraverbals response for the high preference set. The results suggest the order of exposure and stimulus preference as an important variable in facilitating second language vocabulary learning.
