Ensino médio: estudo bibliométrico da produção científica na plataforma EDUC@ (1976-2021)

The theme of this Master's thesis is High School in Brazil. The investigation posed the following research question: How is the Brazilian scientific production on High School configured in a database of scientific articles in the field of Education? To answer this question, the general objective was set to analyze the scientific production on the investigated theme available on the Educ@ platform of the Fundação Carlos Chagas, which consists of a collection of scientific journals in the field of Education. The research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive of a quantitative-qualitative nature, conducted through bibliometric approach methodologies and content analysis. The research corpus was composed of articles (n=649) published between 1976 and 2021 available in Educ@. The methodological procedures involved the following steps: establishment of the research's theoretical framework; selection of the data source; definition of search expressions in the database; data collection and recording in a research database; definition of the research's quantitative categories based on the bibliometric approach (profile of articles and journals, profile of authors, profile of authorship); and qualitative categories based on content analysis. Among the main results obtained, it stands out that the articles were published between 1976 and 2021 in 56 different journals, with the majority of titles classified in the highest strata (A1-A4) of the Qualis/Capes list; there were a total of 1,305 authors, of which the majority (61.8%) are women and the rest (41.2%) are men; co-authorships prevailed (67.2%) and individual articles (n=213) represented 32.8% of the total; the most frequent type of research was applied study (97.5%) with the remainder (2.5%) being theoretical studies. The content analysis of the articles allowed the categorization of the articles into 16 thematic categories, with the most frequent being 'school content and teacher training' (n=257) and adolescents (n=70). The following research designs were also identified: case studies (n=336); documentary (n=157); bibliographic (n=81), bibliographic-documental (n=50), field study or ethnographic research (n=8), and surveys (n=17). In conclusion, by extensively exploring the Brazilian scientific production on High School, the study not only revealed the evolution and predominant trends of this theme but also provided valuable insights into how legal frameworks influence educational formation in Brazil, highlighting the need for continuous revisions and updates to meet the contemporary and future demands of Brazilian society.

The aim of this end-of-course work is to present a brief introduction to variational calculus and its applications. In this way, the development consists of recalling concepts of normed vector spaces, metric spaces and differential and integral calculus. Subsequently, these concepts will be refined for the study of functionals, where concepts about the Fréchet and Gâteaux derivatives, as well as the Euler equation, will inevitably arise. Finally, we will discuss sufficient conditions for extrema.

The legacy of slavery and the persistence of structural racism are deeply rooted in Brazilian racial relations, with women being particularly affected. The labor of enslaved Black women within the intimate spaces of the slave-owning patriarchal households established a dynamic that interwove labor exploitation with a supposed relationship of affection and submission. This contributed to the perception of Black women as integral members of the family in the landowning classes. This study aims to investigate the psychic dimension of the issue of racism in the experience of Black women who work or have worked as domestic workers and/or nannies for white families, using a psychoanalytic theoretical framework. As a research tool, this study employed the Narrative Interview in Free Association. The collected data highlighted aspects of the relationship between the space designated for wet nurses and that assigned to domestic workers. Ideologically structured social representations that permeate the experience of Black women emerge in racial relations between Black domestic workers and white employers, revealing the dynamics of racial tensions in the private sphere. In this condition, the body of Black women is subjected to the violence of the ideal of whiteness, being positioned as the "Other." Domestic work performed by Black women of low income for middle and upper-class women not only perpetuates inequalities but also involves ambiguities in affective logics. The marks inscribed by affection and dedication in the care of children by Black nannies reveal an environment permeated by symbolic abuses and violence, exacerbated by the absence of boundaries regarding adequate working conditions and low wages. Psychic marks from the impacts of racism are not confined to the concrete situations of experienced discrimination but become evident from the earliest childhood, in crucial moments of psychic formation. The seemingly paradigmatic dynamic between Black domestic workers and white employers proved to be conflict-ridden, permeated by violence, humiliations, and punishments.

Over time, it was observed how long working hours could negatively impact workers' lives. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the consequences of these long hours on the worker's physical and mental health, as well as on their family and social life. For this purpose, interviews were carried out with 10 employees from a chemical industry in the automobile sector with the aim of understanding how overtime impacts these people's lives. As a result, it was found that, when it is done more overtime, workers tend to become more anxious and stressed, which can lead to muscle and headache pain, insomnia, weight gain, among others. Furthermore, when they work too much, they end up not being able to spend much time with friends and family. With this, it was possible to conclude that it is important to seek a balance between personal life and work. Another important factor to consider is the importance of labor laws to limit working hours and thus protect workers, since this research has shown that many workers avoid working excessive overtime due to these laws.

The Pension Reform in Brazil brought profound changes to the process of retiring, which is complex in itself, and among the different variables affected, is the relationship between identity and work. Furthermore, Brazil is in the process of aging its population, which has consequently led to the aging of public and private organizations. Given this scenario, the study of perceptions of work and retirement is opportune to better understand the correlations between both, this phase of life and develop strategies that help in adapting to it. Therefore, the main objectives of the dissertation were to characterize the organization and functioning of a regional department of the State Department of Health of São Paulo, and to carry out a study on the sociodemographic profile and perceptions of work and retirement of workers in that region. 20 employees aged 50 or over from the Regional Department of Health of the State Secretariat participated in the collection. For data collection, a survey was carried out in freely accessible databases, documents available at the regional office, semi-structured interviews and the Thematic Apperception Test. As preliminary results, the servers were aged between 51 and 68 years old, of which 16 (80%) were women. 50% of participants were married and 8 (40%) had completed higher education. 30% (6) held the position of Technical Director and 30% (6) the position of Administrative Officer, with the time worked in the Department varying between 1 and 35 years. Data analysis was done through Content Analysis and the instrument manual. It was possible to observe the multiplicity of meanings perceived by the participants, with more positive meanings being attributed to work, highlighting its centrality in the individual's life, and to retirement multiple meanings, positive and negative, such as “freedom” and “new cycle”. The results were organized and presented in the articles “What now, José? Considerations on some psychosocial dimensions in the transition to retirement” and “Perceptions of Work and Retirement by Workers in a Health Region/SP”. Perceptions were influenced by several factors, macro and micro, from personal and organizational contexts, and in addition, it was possible to observe how the perception of work influenced the perception of retirement. Through the findings, we hope to contribute to the development of actions that promote active aging.

This research aimed to conduct a integrative literature review on moral and sexual assault against women in Brazil to understand the breadth of these practices and the contexts in which they occur. 11 studies were selected and analyzed, all of them published in Brazil and in Portuguese. Three thematic categories guided the analysis: prevalence of cases, abusive behavior and consequences for victims. The prevalence studies indicated that around 40% of the respondents reported some situation of assault, usually in the work environment and a reduced number of people reported the case. There were various assault behaviors and different consequences, being more evident when the victim's gender was female. Noteworthy is the increase in the number of publications in the area starting in 2021 and qualitative and exploratory outlines. The relevance of studies in the area that promotes public policies and prevention projects is discussed.

This work aims to analyze the intersection between psychoanalysis and buddhism, two approaches that, despite their distinct origins, share common ideas in understanding human suffering and seeking strategies to deal with it. Initially, we will examine the buddhist perspective, focusing on the concept of dukkha. In the subsequent chapter, we delve into Freudian psychoanalysis, investigating how anxiety is conceptualized and its role in psychic dynamics. In the following, we will seek to promote a dialogue between these perspectives, focusing on the ideas of the Buddhist Sangha and the significance of the other for psychoanalysis. Finally, in the conclusion, we propose reflections on paths toward accepting human suffering. This work aims to enrich the academic discourse by fostering a dialogue between these two perspectives, providing insights into the understanding of suffering in human existence.

Research on parenting styles demonstrates that parents who are communicative and affectionate in their interactions with their children and who, at the same time, set clear and consistent boundaries, promote a favorable environment to the development of children who become more confident and who have more self-control later in life. On the other hand, punitive practices, especially those that include physical punishment (e.g., spanking) are associated with low self-esteem in mid- and long-term. Few studies, however, have explored fathers’ perspective on both positive and negative effects of parenting practices. The study aimed to contribute in this direction by asking fathers to share their beliefs on parental educational practices. Fifty-three fathers of children aged 5 to 12 years participated in the present study by responding to a questionnaire on the Google Forms platform. The first part of the form was the Parenting Styles Inventory (PSI) and the second part included questions about parenting practices. Twenty-five participants (47.2%) had final PSI scores indicating a great parental style, however, qualitative data pointed to a discourse that is inconsistent with positive parental practices. Data analysis also revealed fathers' wish to be heard, in particular, on what raising children is concerned.

Musicalization in Early Childhood Education is a field of research and pedagogical practice that has significant relevance in the learning of young children in daycare. In Early Childhood Education, the responsibility for working pedagogically with music generally falls on teachers specialized in Early Childhood Education, who have a degree in Pedagogy and not in Music. In this sense, the present study takes as a problem question: “How has musicalization been carried out in Early Childhood Education according to publications in the area?” To answer this main question, a bibliographical research was carried out to find out what educational legislation is aimed at teaching music in Early Childhood Education; what the child learns in musicalization, and what the experiences of musical education in daycare centers have been like. As a result, it was found that the relationship with music must be provided to children from an early age; that children's musical education actions become more meaningful through playing; that musical experiences in daycare centers favor the construction of an affective environment for learning, integration and strengthening bonds; and that there is a great need for musical education in Pedagogy Degree courses, so that future Pedagogues develop an interest in the area and feel confident in seeking musical knowledge; plan educational activities with music for young children, and build more musical spaces in the daycare center with the children.

The main goal of this work is to study the concept of a ne toric varieties, as well as the elements of convex geometry necessary for their definition. At first, using the cones for this definition and posteriorly the affi ne semigroups, for a more general definition. Furthermore, we intend to characterize this object and explore important examples of this class of varieties, such as the description of the normalization of toric varieties via elements of convex geometry.

Faced with the COVID-19 pandemic, dental practices faced significant challenges, from operational restructuring to the impact on professionals’ mental health, requiring urgent adaptations to ensure continuity of services. This study aims to analyze, from the perspective of the Theory of Organizational Change, the transformations implemented in a post-pandemic dental clinic, focusing on financial aspects, workload and strategies to optimize organizational efficiency and ensure the safety of professionals and patients. The results indicate a positive assessment of the organizational change in the post-pandemic work model by the majority of dentists, highlighting the effectiveness of the safety measures implemented, financial strategies and engagement strategies adopted to face challenges during this period. Although benefits have emerged, such as patient loyalty, financial challenges and the need for greater care for well-being reveal the complexity of this new scenario, suggesting promising areas for future investigations.

Changes in the landscape, caused by habitat loss and fragmentation due to deforestation, have been posing a great challenge for the survival and persistence of forest-dependent species. The Neotropical primates are among the animal species most threatened by such changes. Among them is the black lion tamarin (BLT), Leontopithecus chrysopygus, which is endemic to the Atlantic Forest of the state of São Paulo, a biome with intense reduction of forest cover. Currently, the distribution of this species is limited to about 20 forest fragments, comprised in three regions along the Paranapanema river, which present landscape diversity in terms of size, resources and connectivity. Fragmented, disconnected and low-density populations tend to be more susceptible to events that promote genetic diversity reduction and inbreeding increase, such as, for example, absence or decrease of gene flow, and increase of genetic structure and drift. In this context, such populations are more likely to suffer local extinctions, compromising the maintenance and viability of the species in the long term. The fragmentation and alteration of the habitat can also affect the structure and social dynamics of the BLT family groups, making them seek alternative strategies to ensure reproduction and survival. In this work we investigated the structure and genetic diversity of L. chrysopygus, from fragments in two regions of current occurrence of the species, Pontal do Paranapanema and Alto Paranapanema; and we characterized the matrilineal structure and the kinship relations, with the aim of understanding socio-reproductive and demographic aspects, associated with historical and contemporary events, and thus generate relevant information for the management and conservation of the species. For this, analyses of microsatellites and the mitochondrial region Dloop were performed. The results show that the genetic diversity found in the fragments varied from low to moderate for both markers (Hd = 0.000 - 0.51; HO = 0.088 - 0.719). The predictive analysis revealed that only the population of Morro do Diabo (Pontal do Paranapanema), will be able to retain 90% of the current genetic diversity for the next 100 years. The historical demography analyses indicate a population reduction occurred approximately 5-7 thousand years ago, coinciding with the period of the Middle Holocene, when there were climatic and landscape changes in the Atlantic Forest. The kinship analyses suggest the occurrence of polygamy in some family groups of BLTs. The data generated in this work are relevant to increase the knowledge about the biology of the species, as well as to generate insights for its eventual management and conservation.

This research aimed to propose an integrative reading of the literary work Primaveras (1859), by Casimiro de Abreu, focusing on the analysis of the six poems which compose its last subsection, entitled Livro Negro. As a starting point, a bibliographical research has been carried out, focusing on the critical fortune of Casimiro’s work, in order to highlight the fragmentary and reductive reading to which the collection Primaveras has been subject, largely due to the systematic devaluation of the Livro Negro by part of the critics. Through the analysis of the poems of the mentioned section, in conjunction with the other parts of Primaveras, the existence of a poetic project has been highlighted and the Livro Negro, a necessary conclusion to the thematic progression that permeates the book, has been organically reintegrated into the body of work to which it belongs: a meaningful whole whose parts communicate and resonate with each other.

The use of microorganisms as biofertilizers represents a promising alternative to traditional fertilization methods. Several strains of bacteria belonging to the Bacillus genus are acknowledged for their ability to promote plant growth, positively impacting crop development. The production of microbial inoculants makes it viable to apply microorganisms in agricultural areas, and encapsulating these microorganisms proves advantageous in enhancing product viability. Starch emerges as a prominent material for composing the matrix. due to its bioavailability, biodegradability, and low cost. Activated Charcoal can be used as an additive in inoculant compositions, as it increases soil water retention capacity and facilitates nutrient and fertilizer fixation. This project aims to develop and characterize a powdered microbial inoculant with a matrix of starch and activated charcoal, using spores from Bacillus megaterium (CNPMS B119) and Bacillus thuringiensis (CNPMS B116). The primary objective is aiming to increase the protection of microorganisms and shelf-life, ultimately promoting positive results in seed coating. The obtained results indicate the efficiency of the starch and charcoal-based microbial inoculant for encapsulating Bacillus. SEM micrographs revealed the presence of Bacillus spores in the encapsulation matrices. The bioinoculant release a high concentration of cells, and the formulation maintains the viability of microorganisms over the six-months storage period. The use of biocomposites in seed treatment did not interfere with soybean germination, and seed coating with the formulation maintained higher concentrations of viable cells compared to seeds coated only with free microorganisms throughout the evaluated period. These results highlight the effectiveness of the formulation as a strategy for seed treatment.

The main problem of the present study is to investigate how a person's experiences and life events, when recorded in the form of a self-portrait, can influence the construction of body image. To answer this question, I delved into my own self-portraits that have been created since 2016, before entering undergraduate studies, observing how my perception of myself and my body has changed over time and how drawing myself has contributed to these changes in body image. I drew inspiration from other artists, such as Frida Kahlo, who also reflected their lives in prints. Additionally, I explored the importance of cultivating a positive self-perception from early childhood, emphasizing that this is supported by law. The significance of the pedagogy course as a formative space is evident in this narrative, as it shaped many transformative experiences that underpin this research. The theoretical, aesthetic, and ethical references have transformed my perspective since 2018, and through the visual records presented here, it is possible to compare and identify the points of rupture and mending in the threads of my experience. This work is constituted as a qualitative bibliographical research with an autobiographical narrative character that led to some points of reflection, including: the knowledge derived from experience; self-portrait as a record; body image; and the influence of social violence on the body.

Psychopathy is characterized by a group of disruptive traits, described in the literature by a manipulative interpersonal style, shallow affect, impulsivity and a parasitic lifestyle. The extension of this construct for children and adolescents is the Limited Prosocial Emotions (LPE) or cold traits, which demonstrate a tendency to evolve during development, leading to the known psychopathic profile or characteristics related to Antisocial Personality Disorder. Among the instruments used in the assessment of psychopathy or LPE are the scales Dirty Dozen, Dimensional Clinical Personality Inventory (IDCP) and Levenson Self-Report Psychopathy Scale (LSRP). Despite the vastness of instruments that assess traits of psychopathy or LPE, there is a shortage of computerized instruments that assess these constructs. In addition, there is a lac in the literature of tests that assess cold traits in different age groups. Currently, the Emotional Stories Organization Test (ESOT or TOHE) is associated with these constructs, although it still does not have more specific items aimed to evaluating LPE and psychopathy. Therefore, the aim of this study was to develop a new version of TOHE focused on the specific investigation of LPSE and psychopathy traits across a broad age range. As part of the validity studies, the research observed participants' performance on the developed instrument compared to other measures assessing similar constructs. It was expected to find significant similarities in the scores of the tests used. The research results were favorable to the initial hypothesis, indicating evidence of construct validity for the new instrument.

This research proposes an in-depth analysis of the role of the black movement in securing rights in early childhood education. Furthermore, it aims to contribute to a teaching practice committed to fostering an anti-racist environment in daycare, emphasizing the significance of children's literature as a transformative tool in this context. The study seeks not only to comprehend the advancements achieved by the black movement in the educational sphere but also to provide practical guidance for educators striving to promote racial equality from the earliest years of children's lives. This research adopts a qualitative approach, centered on literature review and enriched by personal memories, addressing the research question: What are the contributions of literature to building an anti-racist school from Early Childhood Education? The study is grounded in the promotion of a school that respects children's rights and advocates for education that combats stereotypes, prejudices, and inequalities, ensuring that Early Childhood Education constitutes an enriching and respectful learning environment for all children. In conclusion, it emphasizes the urgency of transforming the school into an environment that respects singularities and diversities.

Observing the increasing energy demand and the significant rise in electricity tariffs for consumers, especially residential consumers, in recent years, it becomes viable to find means to reduce the exposure of these consumers to fluctuations in these tariffs. The generation of electricity through the photovoltaic effect in solar panels has grown signifi- cantly in recent years, driven by its economic and environmental benefits. Therefore, this paper presents a technical-economic analysis for the development of residential photo- voltaic generation system projects from normative, technical, and economic perspectives. This monograph will present and discuss the components of grid-connected photovoltaic generation systems, calculations for sizing and installation of photovoltaic panels, and a case study regarding the sizing of a residential photovoltaic generation system with the calculation of the economic feasibility of implementing such a system.

This work aims to present a proposal for teaching Knot Theory through magic tricks and games with yarn, introducing mathematical concepts in a playful way in Basic Education. Initially, there will be a contextualization of the history and relevance of Knot Theory; subsequently, magic tricks and games involving yarn will be proposed, serving as tools for the understanding of the studied concepts and promoting benefits such as the development of motor coordination and logical reasoning. An analysis of national curriculum guidelines will be conducted, demonstrating the proposal’s contribution to educational objectives. Questions from mathematical competitions such as the Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad for Public Schools (OBMEP) and the Kangaroo Mathematics Contest will be presented, highlighting the practical applicability of the knowledge. The work was implemented in a state school, both in regular classes, aiming to make learning more engaging, and in workshop format, allowing the practical exploration of knots to promote comprehensive, meaningful, and enjoyable education.

This study aimed to investigate the life trajectory of people with disabilities, focusing on the educational process, in order to identify the factors that contributed to access to the labor market. Therefore, a thorough bibliographic research was conducted to understand what is being produced about the life trajectory of these individuals. Thus, we selected studies that reported on the education process of these individuals and their integration into the labor market. Eight texts were selected for study, published in the last decade. From the analyses, it is possible to understand the challenges experienced by this population from Basic Education to entry into the labor market. Therefore, it is necessary to address the contradiction of including in a society that excludes everything and everyone who deviates from the standard of normativity rooted in collectivity. Thus, it is essential that there be advances regarding legislation and affirmative actions aimed at social participation and the eradication of discrimination against these individuals. It is also necessary to address hegemonic relationships in education, which do not address the needs and subjectivities of their students. Despite the school being a place of learning, achievements, autonomy, and socialization, it is permeated by contradictions, such as bullying, lack of attitudinal accessibility and materials for PWDs, and the lack of preparation of educators who work in these spaces.
