Parques Urbanos de São Carlos (SP): percepções sobre seus usos, conexões e melhorias para a gestão urbana

Urban Parks are educational spaces, with environmental, social, aesthetic and cultural benefits, in which it is possible to develop environmental education and the responsible appropriation of reality through transformative actions, and it is necessary to know the perception of those who frequent these spaces. This study aims to identify the perception of the population that uses Urban Parks in São Carlos (SP) regarding functions, uses, connections between parks and community involvement, seeking to indicate subsidies for the advancement of the management of green spaces in the city. A survey of 5 laws and decrees referring to the administrative structure responsible for the management of urban parks was carried out, followed by 27 documents referring to the normative legal framework on green areas and urban parks, examining environmental education, functions and social participation, and finally, questionnaires were applied in 6 urban parks in the city, analyzing the functions, uses, connectivity, social participation and suggestions for improvements in the spaces studied. The results indicate that administrative functions regarding green spaces in the city are divided into at least three sectors of three different departments, which results in fragmentation and overlapping responsibilities. The notable advancement of the normative framework on this topic involves the publication of decrees to turn public areas into urban parks, although still without adequate infrastructure or the definition of issues such as connections between green areas or which public body is responsible for environmental education activities. Of the 180 respondents, 50.3% are female, the dominant age group was between 26 and 45 years old and they prefer to visit parks close to their homes. The promotion of leisure activities is the function most perceived (by 137 people), followed by environmental conservation (49), the generation of income (39), the contribution to people's health (37), a more pleasant climate (33) and the encouragement of educational activities (26). The suggestions for improvements collected mostly refer to structural issues, such as maintenance and improvement of equipment and requalification of sports practice spaces. In addition to this, there is a demand for more leisure options and better health and education conditions. It is concluded that urban parks have potential, as educational, leisure and social spaces, which can be better utilized through the continued advancement of legislation.

In this dissertation, linked to the Graduate Program in Education (PPGE) of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) - research line "Education in Science and Mathematics" - Mathematics Education Axis, we aimed to understand the attitudes, meanings and experiences of high school students in a public school in Minas Gerais in relation to school mathematics. Located in the field of studies in the Psychology of Mathematics Education, the intention of this master's research is to contribute to the theoretical-methodological field of the area by seeking to understand the reasons for feelings of avoidance and aversion to the discipline, constituted, from what we have seen in school practice, by the excessive focus on the application of procedures and rules in isolation. To this end, using a qualitative-quantitative approach, combined with Fritz Schütze narrative method, data production involved the application of a Likert-type Aiken Attitude Scale, translated, adapted and validated by Brito (2006) and, in a more qualitative way, after gauging the students' attitudes, we selected four of them so that they could narrate their biographies in terms of their senses and experiences with mathematics at school. In view of the research objectives, two narratives were analyzed, which made it possible to achieve what we set out to do: create a theoretical model for their analysis. In terms of results, it was possible, through the students' accounts and the existing literature, to see that the relationship between teacher and student; learning mathematics; and the phases of school transitions influence attitudes towards the subject.
O ator da enunciação Sergio Moro: uma análise semiótica da trajetória de juiz a senador

Discourse plays an important role in establishing different forms of power — this is even more evident due to the person’s social role. It is also through speeches that we can position ourselves ideologically, for or against certain issues and values. Based on these observations, this master's work presents an analysis, based on semiotics of Greimasian origin, of Sergio Moro's ethos, seeking to describe its main features and how it is constructed. For this, the corpus is formed from Lula's conviction sentence, when Sergio Moro was a judge, and also from interviews and statements given by him as a minister and senator, that is, as an outspoken politician. We seek to verify, by comparing these different data, transformations and continuities in relation to the production of ethos. The research is based, above all, on the reflections of José Luiz Fiorin (1996) and Norma Discini de Campos (2003) on enunciation and ethos, and dialogues with the works of Benveniste (1995) and Dominique Maingueneau (1995).
Mudança de perspectiva sobre a comunidade LGBTQIAPN+: representatividade nas novelas Brasileiras (1980-2019)

This work addressed how society and the public changed the way they think about the LGBTQIAPN+ community due to their representation in soap operas shown on different Brazilian broadcasters. To this end, a historical approach to this community since the 1980s will be recovered. If before there was little representation and the characters were often portrayed in a stereotypical way, currently there is greater representation and fewer stereotypes. Although this topic has already been addressed in other academic works, the difference in this approach, in the Brazilian case, is the presence of other broadcasters in addition to Rede Globo. We sought to answer the following question: how did the public and society's thinking change in relation to the LGBTQIAPN+ community with the contribution of soap operas?
Caminhos para uma pedagogia do cuidado: uma experiência de formação em Terapia Ocupacional junto à Educação Popular em Saúde

Popular Health Education as a public policy has become an important reference for the dialogue between knowledge and social actors in health practices. Occupational Therapy proposes a graduate profile capable of analyzing and acting in the relationships that make up the scenario of the populations served based on occupations, activities and daily routines. Thus, Popular Education in Health demonstrates itself as a possible theoretical-methodological and theoretical-conceptual tool for this action. In this sense, this project aims to report the experience of a student in Occupational Therapy and the influence of Popular Health Education in her training process. The specific objectives are: to identify possible skills and competencies developed from the encounter between the framework of Popular Health Education and training in Occupational Therapy; to analyze how the composition of Teaching, Research and Extension influences the learning guided by these frameworks; to understand what strengths, challenges and learning this experience reveals. A qualitative study was carried out based on the experience report explored by Bondía's theory of knowledge from experience. The data sources of the experiences in the Teaching, Research and Extension axes were analyzed through Thematic Content Analysis. The analysis was carried out based on three categories, classified based on the objectives of the work. As contributions, Popular Education in Health is complementary to several absences and/or concepts defined in a generic way in the National Curricular Guidelines or Occupational Therapy. They are also complementary when defending the transformation with the subjects based on the joint construction of what is common. It can be concluded that the work contributes to the reflection on the use of the Popular Education in Health framework in health training as a producer of a pedagogy of care. As well as with the construction of knowledge and methodologies in Occupational Therapy training based on the sharing of experience.
“Pincéis como flechas”: UÝra em retomada transmídia

The formation of the Brazilian population was crossed by processes that involve a series of erasures of forms of culture, knowledge, languages and rituals. Specifically in relation to the indigenous presence, even though it has transformed and become mostly urban, there are at least four categories of indigenous peoples in Brazilian society: The isolated, those who remain living in communities, but have had contact with the population non-indigenous for more than 400 years, those who had more recent contact, and the urban indigenous population, which is the largest of all. For indigenous people who live in urban areas and are LGBTQIA+ there is another layer that must be taken into consideration in social life: we are the country that is at the top of the ranking of violence for environmental activists and for LGBTQIA+ people, with a life expectancy of 35 years for transgender bodies. In this context, Uýra, an indigenous and transgender visual artist, occupies a position as a target artist. This threatened body uses performance, associated with other languages, to carry out artistic and educational practices. In this research, we outline the artist's profile, investigate which languages are adopted within the scope of decoloniality in dialogue with the notions of media convergence and transmedia narrative. In order to understand and raise questions about the theme of resumption.

The aim of this study is to support an interpretation of the uniqueness of Jean-Jacques Rousseau's thought in the midst of the Enlightenment. Starting from the incompatibilities pointed out, we maintain the emergence of an ethical attitude that animates Rousseau's various writings, through which his ideas acquire a coherence, sustained by a philosophical orientation around problems that are articulated within the scope of his “theory of man”, more precisely, the paradoxical status of the conception of human nature and its inherent denaturation. In this working hypothesis, in short, the notion of perfectibility, as developed in the Discourse on Inequality, would have a paradigmatic place for understanding Rousseau's “system”.
Metodologias fotocatalíticas para funcionalização do carbonato de Morita-Baylis-Hillman

Morita-Baylis-Hillman (MBH) adducts are well-established building blocks in organic synthesis, renowned for their reaction versatility. The ease with which their structures can be modified makes them ideal for the construction of complex molecules, such as those of pharmacological interest. When converted into carbonates, MBH adducts become highly susceptible to allylation reactions, often employing nucleophilic substitution methodologies. Photoredox catalysis, a highly relevant synthetic tool, enables organic transformations via radicals under mild conditions, facilitating the functionalization of the alkene portion connected to electron-withdrawing groups, which act as excellent radical acceptors. We explored this reactivity in two studies. In the first, we employed an organophotocatalytic protocol using 1,2,3,5-tetrakis(carbazol-9-yl)-4,6-dicyanobenzene (4CzIPN) to generate carbamoyl radicals from 4-carbamoyl-dihydropyridines (carbamoyl-DHPs), yielding 29 examples of polyfunctionalized molecules with up to 98% yields. The robustness of the protocol was demonstrated through monitoring experiments and scale-up. In the second study, we replaced the homogeneous photocatalyst with mesoporous graphitic carbon nitride (mpg-CN), a heterogeneous photocatalyst. This new system was effective not only for carbamoylations but also for methylations, acylations, and non-classical glycosylations from 1,4-dihydropyridines (1,4-DHPs), exhibiting broad functional group tolerance across 50 examples of substrates, with yields reaching up to 80%. The reuse of the photocatalyst was also explored, showing excellent results and confirming the robustness of the adopted strategy.
