Abstract
Inside the theme of projects management, the present work had the purpose of investigate and analyze building projects’ coordination and compatibilization, starting from data and reflections about procedures shapes applied on these processes. Firstly, as part of the Literature Review, it was made a research into technical and scientific papers, searching for methods and contributions that uses traditional models and modern models based in BIM (Building Information Modeling). The repertoire due this research provided the necessary subsidy to build a practical study, based on quizzes/interviews, using Google Forms, about practices and procedures adopted by architecture and engineer companies that works at São Carlos (SP). This work investigation’s double character, with theoretical and practical bases, tried to compare the different methods to better understand the projects’ current scenery on this region, as evaluate its tendencies, identifying that the transition between project’s methods is occurring, instead of the low rhythm, and the professionals mindset about the themes of project’s coordination and compatibilization, and also the quality of their products, exists and is growing.
