Resumo
The Medicine Course at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) aims to provide a
global, humanized, ethical, critical and reflective medical education, making use of real (or
simulated) hypotheses for teaching, which encourage the development of a critical-reflective
resource, in a Constructivist spiral, with active teaching methodology (PBL). It is organized according to longitudinal and complementary educational units, structured based on the
expected performance of students. The Course Conclusion Work (TCC) is an assessment
instrument and consists of a critical-reflective narrative about the student's experience with the
learning process over the 72 months of graduation, with care for people and with the work in
the health system. By the end of the course, I can measure how much I have grown, personally
and professionally. Each step of this journey was extremely important for the construction of
the Doctor that I will become. I feel privileged and blessed by the opportunity to live the
experience of becoming a doctor in a public university, free and a world reference.
