Caracterização do nível de eficiência energética conforme o Programa Brasileiro de Etiquetagem Edifica: estudo de caso da Biblioteca Comunitária - UFSCar

Abstract

The objective of this work is to study and expand the discussions on the techniques for evaluating energy efficiency in buildings, specifically university buildings. Thus, following the guidelines of PBE Edifica, using the prescriptive method contained in the Technical Quality Regulation for the level of energy efficiency for Commercial, Service and Public Buildings, RTQ-C, the energy efficiency of the Community Library present at the Federal University of São Carlos was characterized, based on data obtained from plans and dwg files of the building and a technical visit in person to obtain the missing data, using the WebPrescriptive application to assist and optimize the process due to the automation of the calculations. As a result, a general classification of C was obtained for the building, with a level E envelope, level E lighting and level B air conditioning. In addition, improvements were suggested in the lighting system, which reached level B and general label level B, and in the lift bonus, which raised the building's level to B, a fact that was repeated using the bonus along with improvements in lighting.
