Abstract
The Internship was carried out in the Medicinal Garden (JM) of the Espaço Interativo de Ciências (EIC), linked to the Instituto de Física de São Carlos of the Universidade de São Paulo through the research, innovation and dissemination project: Centro de Pesquisa e Inovação em Biodiversidade e Fármaco (CIBFar/CEPID-FAPESP). The JM aims to introduce visitors to some popular medicinal plants, aiming to encourage their use and cultivation, to approach in a simple way the drug production process from the medicinal properties extracted from plant material, generational knowledge linked to popular knowledge, responsible for recognizing the medicinal value of the plant kingdom.
