Abstract

The Guided Tours Program of CDCC/USP plays a crucial role in disseminating scientific knowledge, focusing on Environmental Education, aiming to foster the exchange of information and experiences. By offering these tours, CDCC/USP seeks to enrich the educational experience. This study analyzed the activities of the intern in receptioning and mediating visitors, including a literature review on scientific literacy and scientific dissemination in non-formal learning, as well as a quantitative analysis of the monitored visits, considering the audience, municipalities, educational networks, level of education, and spontaneous visitors. It is concluded that these visits are crucial for environmental education, promoting knowledge and skills for collective management of resources and environmental decisions, and contributing to citizenship education by encouraging democratic participation in solving environmental problems.
