Abstract
In this work, we study the evolution of the Brazilian airport networks in order to describe their connectivity structure and to analyze if their structure changed during the pandemic caused by COVID-19. To this end, we study methods of community detection on random networks, that is, how to divide the nodes (airports) of the network into groups that have similar connection patterns. We compare the communities obtained for the airport networks built before and during the pandemic in order to determine if there are changes in their structure.
