Abstract
This work of completion of the course is of general order on agriculture in the Cachoeirinha Indigenous Land – Aldeia Argola in the municipality of Miranda-MS. For a better understanding of the indigenous context it is necessary to make a history of indigenous peoples in general and with more details about the Cachoeirinha Indigenous Land, located 12 km from the city, at the coordinates between 20o11'54.6"S and 56o 17'46.1"W. The objective was to evaluate soil fertility and productivity of areas cultivated with the main crops: beans, corn and cassava; analyze the perspective of Terena agriculture and determine and evaluate chemical parameters of the soils of cultivated areas: pH, OM, P, K, Ca, Mg, SB, CTC, V, Al, m, B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Fe and Zn to indicate possible chemical management of the soil to increase crop yield. Chemical and soil granulometry analyses were performed at depths of 0 to 20 and 20 to 40 cm from seven areas of producers and from a native forest area. The productivity data for the bean, corn and cassava crops of Aldeia Argola were obtained from the literature and estimated by the author by means of local consultation with the producers. It was concluded that the lack of sustainability of agriculture in the T.I. Cachoeirinha, Aldeia Argola promotes the departure of inhabitants in the search for compulsory external work even today; need for technical assistance that reaches the village for the proper management of the crop production system, with special attention to conservation practices; encourage and facilitate the chemical analysis of soil for recommendation of lime, gypsum and fertilization; the need to recover springs with regional native forest species.
