Abstract

This work aims to produce an article about practical, technical and methodological aspects involved in production design. The approach focuses on the testimonials of three art department Brazilian professionals with diverse backgrounds and the objective is to highlight the specificities of the profession, the work environment and the way each project is developed and executed. It is intended to contribute to the discussion and visibility of the effort employed by the art department and its relevance within a cinematographic production.
