Resumo
What makes a person move from one point to another? What are the motivations that lead
human beings to leave their homes and be willing to travel to others
places? And what experiences do people have on a trip? The answers to
the questions above are related to several factors. Whereas mobility is
concept crossed by social markers, unique experiences and motivations, the
objective of the present work is to investigate the experiences of LGBTQIA+ people when
use the Blablacar hitchhiking app, as the rate of
violence and hate crimes against people in this group is high, according to some
estimated data. The research was carried out in an exploratory qualitative way, with focus on the
user experience when using the Blablacar application, through a form
and two interviews. The result is a proposal to improve the Blablacar interface, with
any button that signals intolerance with LGBTphobia.
