Resumo
The disorderly growth of large urban centers has caused several problems, among which we can mention the reduction in the supply of job vacancies parking. Thus, in addition to this, there is the advancement of the industrialization of civil construction, which prioritizes the execution of more vertical and compact structures, such as multi-story garage buildings, which require the application of modulations that provide space optimization. In this way, it becomes I need to select a construction system that covers the needs of the environment, mainly in relation to the cost and the ordering of the structural elements. Like this, Regarding these elements, pre-cast slabs are used, with emphasis on the use of honeycomb and pi-type panels, which have as characteristic is the potential to overcome large gaps. However, to apply this system it is necessary to guarantee the overall stability of the building. In this way, this study analyzed the global stability of 4 multi-story garage buildings based on an idealized project, two buildings with hollow core slabs measuring 3 and 5 floors and two buildings with pi type slabs of 3 and 5 floors. From this, these buildings were modulated in the TQS® PREO software, and then, after processing overall structure, it was determined that buildings with 3 and 5 floors with hollow core slabs behave better in relation to global stability, however, when Considering the concrete consumption and the average load of these buildings, those with 3 and 5-story pi type slabs have the greatest advantage.
