Inflamável cinema: incendiando as percepções
Abstract
Cinema as a crossing in times of intolerance, how affection affects the perception of feeling cinema. A research on the place of the researcher/spectator based on the (mis)education that precedes the film (but it is not limited and does not limit it). Education and the disobedience of the gaze, which is established as a possible freedom in the face of imprisonment and authoritarianism. Considering forms of subjectivities that reverberate in/of the images. This research intends to reflect on the way that the moving images of the film Portrait de la jeune fille en feu (2020) echo in the sensations and senses of the appreciator/researcher, based on the discussion of Image on Fire by Didi-Huberman. Walking through a bibliographical and interpretive methodology that emerges as a result of the flames of the film, thinking about the experience through the idea of creating images. Through these methodological considerations, a framework was created that we call “Atlas of sensations”. In this space some scenes were analyzed from significant frames, they are: the sensation triggered by the scene, its possibilities of connections and relationship with theoretical material from different authors. In this way, through images, texts, poetry, authors, these sensations will be discussed, intoning sense and meaning for what I will now call “the look experience”. Seek the unimaginable of feeling. The images and perceptions of/with cinema that can ignite our emotions.
