Kant e a educação para moral: um exercício da liberdade
Resumo
Our dissertation intends to investigate as main object the conception of education for morality of Immanuel Kant, from research on education and its stages. In order to analyze in detail our purpose, the research had in mind the moral notion of the author, since it indicates that the purpose of education is, ultimately, the development of the human being for morality, for the purpose of perfecting humanity. As for Kant the notion of morality is based on the full development of reason, it became important to discuss how our author understands reason and its relation to autonomy and freedom, since this relation culminates in the purpose of morality and with the ultimate end of the human species. Culminated with an analysis of education which aims at forming persons capable of making full use of their reason, who may freely choose to act under the commandments of a rational, objective and universal law which is equally valid at any time and free from any inclination, that is, acting autonomously.
