A alfabetização no momento certo: possíveis consequências da aceleração dos processos de aprendizagem na educação infantil
Abstract
Teaching literacy is a process that involves practices, exercises and experiences about learning letters and sounds. And it has been started earlier and earlier, since 2, 3 years old. Therefore, this research want to explore issues related to early literacy, around cognitive and motor maturation, language, reading and writing, in order to understand the influences of this practice on child development, through the analysis of bibliographical research results and information on the possibility to get “advantages” in submitting children to early literacy practices. Among the main authors who starred in the lines of this work, it is worth mentioning Piaget and Vygotsky, mainly, but also Alessandra Del Ré, Papalia and Feldman, Magda Soares and Artur Gomes de Morais. It was intended to investigate the needs of early childhood and the relationship with the practice of schooling that stands. In this sense, it is important to understand the weight of school actions and the possible consequences of accelerating learning processes in Early Childhood Education. As a result, it was concluded that this practice when introduced so immaturely, in addition to not bringing any further advantages, can also lead to complications and learning difficulties.
