Como a escola constrói a corporeidade e os papéis de gênero com crianças do ensino fundamental?
Abstract
This monograph is the result of a research with qualitative approach and bibliographic character, associated with a field study, which sought to understand how the school environment has influenced the corporeality and constructions gender of children, analyzing the conceptualization of the terms gender and corporeality and educational policies on the subject. It was verified that the school has influenced the construction of roles, of gender relations, and corporealities in order to preserve hegemonic ideals of what it is understood about what it is to be a man and what it is to be a woman, acting in the conditioning of children's bodies from an early age for them to behave the way it is expected in terms of certain social models, repressing and excluding those who do not fit the standards. It was also verified the importance of school in the construction of gender roles by the students and in their ways of expression through corporeity, having responsibility in the deconstruction of gender prejudices, inequalities and stereotypes.
