Resumo
This research investigated how heuristic play occurs through the author's experience in a nursery for children aged 1 to 2 years in the city of Sorocaba. The work with babies at the mentioned institution is based on the Emmi Pikler approach. From this, the aim was to understand the world of children through their playful discoveries and how mini-stories contribute to documenting play, being a fundamental right for children. The qualitative and bibliographic research, with observations of practice, aims to document educational practice with babies through heuristic play to promote reflection on practice, thereby enabling understanding of the materials used in the heuristic approach, their application, and pedagogical documentation through mini-stories.
