Formas de citação discursiva em produções textuais sob o enfoque da teoria das operações predicativas e enunciativas
Abstract
This research aims at investigating discursive mechanisms in direct, indirect and free indirect speeches in the teaching context of textual production and interpretation. To contemplate this objective the present research situates itself in the Theory of Predicative and Enunciative Operations, theoretical field that is guided by Antoine Culioli. The reported speech in the students composition, appear differently from what grammar or course books show and explain. It has been observed that neither punctuation rules nor the rules to transpose direct speech in indirect speech, in the mentioned contexts, are followed in order to create different meanings. It is likely that these linguistics arrangements, which are not always in accordance with standard language established by the grammar book, have being used as a linguistic strategy to articulate the relations of the generating process of meanings. Thus, it seems to be relevant to rethink how reported speech is considered in the language teaching process, especially in learners compositions, as a mean of promoting the linguistic-cognitive development of students.
